I like the concept, but I would not be able to recommend it.

Some cards have their mechanics being bugged, well I found 2 that turned my battles to the worse because they did not work as intended (based on description on card. Yes, either the card mechanic is bugged or the text is wrong, I will classify both as a bug based on how important correct card play is).
Finding those 2 bugged cards was enough for me to put down the game, instead of searching for more bugged cards.

I am not sure where to start, this game just have too many things wrong with it.
Some the things could be corrected with minor adjustment, and/or tool tips (or similar),
others require a more bone structure altering process.

The UI are horrible setup and it seems the devs care more about creating cosmetics for a lot of different classes with
sub-classes that they shoe horn into it the game, without thought to what the classes/sub-classes should bring to
the game, other than the devs can follow their red thread of "...we can add more cosmetics, then ofc we will add it!"

I can only recommend this to people that likes to play battles of slaughter fest without thoughts
to actual tactical approach in combat. This game only gives you the illusion there are some form of tactics for it's combat.

I will update this after I have tried playing again, for now:

If you place your Palbox in front of a wall/mountain, Pals will spawn inside, and can't move around. They die of starvation.

Furthermore it have decent tutorial/'help text', how ever it is lacking a tutorial/'help text' about assigning Pals to work stations.

Interesting concept that are ruined by a bad UI.
If you want to battle learning the UI has some people have,
then I am sure this is a great game.

I just don't feel I have the time to learn the UI,
when I want to play a game ...it's because I want to play it, shockingly!
Usually a UI should help you with that, not in this game sadly.

It got some nice features, but basically after completing what is considered the tutorial,
I had to stop playing the game, as the controls are too much based on controller use or just bad controls.

Not to mention some progress was removed, which I was happy I had done.
just the nail in the coffin for me personally, but I see why the people that can get used the controls like it.

A great game, and while I understand the reasoning behind a cap on Lvl12, maybe a pseudo lvl cap of 20 would be possible.
(with pseudo lvl20 I mean this: Things already implemented for classes continues to work leveling up, except, no new skills and spells are introduced. How ever old ones could scale with level, like fighters additional attack, and the amount of spell slots for spells etc.)
This would allow as well more introducing new gear, where existing and new should be balanced to fit this new cap of 20.

A neat feature could be allow for character creation outside of starting a campaign. Saving them and then loading these
created characters when needed. Simply add a save/load feature in character creation, that are available only when it is needed to create a character, and when entered through the newly added character creation menu item in the start menu.

Implementing the below, would further set this game as a mark in gaming history this century:
An editor for creating your own adventures and hosting (like Bioware did with NWN1).
Not to mention if they released expansions with new tilesets/environments AND allowed community to go crazy with addons.
This would provide a new playground in the RPG genre, with a much needed facelift from NWN1 outdated graphics.

Been playing the game, it's decent. Not a fan of rulesets after 3.5, as they are quite limiting.
(makes for easy implementing into a digital game though)

I tried out the location editor. The options of "ground" tiles to put down is VERY limited.
Makes me want a NWN3 with up to date gfx and their toolset,
though I like that the devs of Solasta at least tried.
However to truly be useful for creative people like me, you need not just more pieces,
but you need to make sure pieces are "flexible" (maybe a mirror flip option).

The feedback I have is based on only playing the tutorials, and in Survival mode on Hard.

Upgrading tech on units, seems a bit too pricy for subsequent bought upgrades,
compared to how/what the AI throws at you.

Hackers: I think the limit to who you can't hack should be on giant units, rather than flying units.

Other than that I don't really have any 'bad things'/'suggestions for balancing',
it's a pretty great game that I can highly recommend for people that likes this type of game.

This far I do see a few bugs or some polish needed.
Here is a list of the issue I found:
1) When hovering items in inventory it displays text on top of each other, making reading the text near impossible.
2) Items do not always display values (after being "found"/"discovered") for items having been cooked.
Usually it doesn't show, some times it does, seems very random.
3) Inconsistency in the crafting logic, example:
2 stones to make a stone knife. Long stick + rope + stone knife, to make stone spear.
1 bone + 1 rope to make bone knife. You would think it goes Long stick + rope + bone knife ...it doesn't!

I will edit this post, as I find more issues or any of above issues get fixed.
