There's plenty of Steam guides and Youtube videos out there documenting this, but maybe I should make one that goes in depth into how user generated content is uploaded to Steam and the weird quirks it has. I've found some stuff that I haven't really seen anyone else cover.

There's a few ways and techniques. As of writing this here's how to do it with a piece of artwork. Go to the artwork upload page on your browser, open the browser console and enter this:
$J('#image_width').val(1).attr('id',''),$J('#image_height').val(262000).attr('id','')
Then upload the image. There's tons of other values you can modify.
