Honestly for what it is it's... fine. There's moments where I really enjoy it but there's a lot that is really aggravating. All of this is in regards to the PVE Co-op

Pros:
It has a good core idea, some cool "realistic" mechanics, and gun play is decent.

Issues:

The guns don't really matter. Anything that shoots automatic is about the same minus the recoil and firing speed. Shotguns are not viable and I find myself just using 2 or three guns.

The surrender mechanic is so inconsistent. You can shoot enemies sometimes and get no penalty, other times you shout to surrender and their hands are up but they don't surrender so you shoot them only to get a penalty. It wouldn't be so bad if the AI didn't have the reflexes of a pro R6 player with a catheter filled with GFuel strapped to his ♥♥♥♥, so you constantly have to commit to killing them before they shoot you first!!! 99% of the missions are against terrorists where they are threatening hostages and planting bombs. Why the hell am I going in and being forced to y'ell "Police, hands in the air" these boiz have committed to the bit. My buddy shot a suicide bomber and got a penalty for excessive force... what????

The AI have an insanely unfair awareness of your location and will blind fire or prefire your position. The AI are simultaneously stupid (they tend to pile up on stairs) and godly (shooting you before you round the corner)

The missions are spotty in quality and balance. Some you'll breeze through in one go and others you will have to replay time and time again. I've given up on some missions that looked really cool but enemy behavior is so random you can't consistently do well. There are some missions with just way too many enemies where it just becomes tedious to play through. There's one mission that is in a wide open town so instinctively you pick a DMR to shoot enemies from a distance. Problem is if you shoot them without saying surrender guess what? YOU GET PENALIZED! You're telling me I have to scream at a dude a 1/4 mile away to surrender in a wide open map, which game design-wise is telling me to snipe, otherwise I'll be penalized??? It's really counter intuitive.

You cannot play by yourself except for maybe 3 of the existing missions .You have to play at least with 2 people. I only have one friend with this game and the two of us struggled through it. We enjoyed the challenge to unlock all the missions but there are just some that you have to have more than 2 people to make it playable. (granted I say that never playing with more than one other person)

TLDR: This game is a 4/10 simply because of how unrefined it is.

So much hype and such a let down :[

I've been a fan of the elder scroll's universe since morrowind on the OG xbox, so when i heard this game was happening i was very happy but this is not what i expect at all. First of all when you download this game, you download about 48 gb's that are textures and the game launcher. When you open the game it goes to the launching screen like any MMO... and then it downloads 25 more gb's at over half your normal download speed. This is annoying enough but the launcher that you are using to download the rest of this game off of is very unstable and crashes frequently. When the launcher crashed it froze my pc and i had to restart it but when i booted up my pc and open up the launcher i had to start from the very begining. I'm not joking when i say it took me more than 24 hours to finally get to the point where i could design my charcter. Now this may only be a personal experience but it was very frustraiting.
Once i got past the technical issues and started playing i first noticed the game was missing some textures which was odd. All ESO is, is just another run of the mill MMO so if you love MMO's and you have patients for hours of wait time before you can play a game go ahead and buy it, I'm returning this and regreting the wasted time stressing over something so petty.
