I really wouldn't recommend getting this game personally, I got it when it first came out because of Frankieonpc however a lot has changed from then and the game has become extremely grindy and toxic and is currently full of cheaters, yes back in its early days it had cheater problems but they were banned fast and didn't really get anywhere however these days cheaters are literally everywhere you go, unless you have an admin monitoring the server 24/7 you will likely run in to cheaters.

I originally bought this game as it had zombies and because of how it played however all that has changed since then and its honestly sad to see they didn't even keep access to the legacy version of the game, I understand that over time things change and I accept and I see and understand the devs put a lot of hard work in to the game but at the end of the day the cheater problem is massive, they run rampant on all the major servers and community servers, yes they get banned, however they get banned like a week or month later normally, well after the damage has been done.

I hope one day they bring back the ability to play legacy however I doubt they ever will, anyways this game is far from what I originally bought and I just can't find it all that fun if I'm to be honest.

(Yes I understand there are modded servers that fix a lot of the above mentioned issues however I'm talking about base game / none modified servers e.c.t)

Great game so far, obviously needs more content to it for me to truly recommend buying it unless you just want to support the devs.

Quite happy how the developers have communicated what their will and won't be on launch and what we should expect over the coming months, there has been no misleading like other companies contentiously do, along with no false promises, would only recommend buying the game once it has more content added or if you just want to support the developers.

RARE is a company with many issues under its belt and not good ones.

1. They allow people to be racist, homophobic and whatever else, especially the [SOT Partners]

2. Numerous allegations for grooming and paedophilia have been brought up against SOT content creators and RARE them selves, it shows a dark picture of who's actually running the show.

3. They will happily ruin a guys life so they can stroke there tiny ego over banning him years ago over stream sniping and promoting cheats, what weren't even real cheats and were for Minecraft as a meme, however they were happy to take down his Twitch and then false copy right strike two of his YouTube Channels.

This company disgusts me, they let cheaters, racists and paedophiles run rampant in there game and company and do nothing to stop it, however when they see some guy just trying to make YouTube video's that people can enjoy and laugh at they can't stand it so they DMCA his entire channel and harass him for years.

Though I haven't played much of the game here is my experience and my opinion if its worth even buying.

Firstly FPS - Its good however lower end systems won't be able to get much fps

I can only go up to high as super for some reason stutters and lags but good fps?, I really don't understand why, my pc is pretty much nearly as high end as you can go so game issue I guess.

Gameplay - The gun play in its self feels smooth however when shooting the AI they some times just don't care and will take headshots and just live on, one of the biggest problems are pistols may as well be airsoft pistols as they seem to not be able to kill people.

The running and movement system is good and I like the medical system what requires you to take multiple different medical items to even be able to heal giving it a more then just "slap bandage on you're fine now :)".

Graphics - If you look at the ground I've found the game looks pretty good, however when actually looking around its a meh at best kind of an eye sore imo, its not the worst and its not the best.

Gun models are also pretty good and high quality so no complaints there.

AI - in the starting village the AI are kind of stupid, I'm guessing its to allow new players to adjust to actually playing the game and getting on there feet however the minute you step outside of that starting village you will be slaughtered by the AI if you don't play carefully

Extracts - The helicopter that takes you from base and to the objective is a pretty cool addition however I've found that it goes over the towns causing quite a bit of lag as you extract due to the fact you're zooming over all the AI's heads nothing really to complain about when it comes to anything else with the helicopter.

Quests as far as quests go its mainly just go find stuff or something / something, they also have a kill quest pretty early on, however the quests seem to be fine and there aren't any bugs with them as far as I've seen.

Bugs - I've honestly only noticed one bug, that being my friends head not being there for some reason accept from that the game feels pretty bug free.


TLDR / My opinion if its worth it.

I'll start of by saying yest its worth it "however", If you are looking for the next escape from tarkov, this isn't it, the game is more light when it comes to realisim the AI can be a bit goofy at times, the graphics aren't the best, the gameplay / gunplay is good, some times the AI don't feel the hit reg so they just kind of live when shooting them so server issues I guess, game's kind of pricey for what its worth but I'd say yeah its worth buying, but acknowledge the fact you are buying a early access game

Where other game devs would fall and stop caring, Arrowhead never gave up and made Sony change its mind, they encouraged us to voice our opinions and it worked, no longer are we under the threat of PSN god bless with community.

Everything I expected, only issues is FPS but tbf it isn't much of an issue for me as I'm constantly running at least 30-60fps, would imagine it being a problem for others though.

I originally got this game for the PlayStation about 10+ years ago or so, I had fond memories of playing this game often and going on a journey with other people that I'd never get to meet or even talk to, but played from start to finish with, I saw the game on steam today and thought why the hell not, so I decided to give it another go, and I honestly don't regret it one bit, every second was like walking through my memories, the game truly has stood the test of time and is just as amazing as I remember it to be.

Whilst I do recommend this DLC I'll address some issues you will likely encounter first.

1. The map is really detailed and looks amazing, probably one of the best WW2 maps I've ever seen in Arma however it suffers from poor FPS due to how big it is and all the stuff placed on it so keep that in mind.

2. There is a rather large lacking of stuff to this DLC however keep in mind it literally just came out so don't expect the world, however the content currently included is amazing and the vehicles are just next level, however tanks are missing interiors.

However even though there are some negatives there are a ton of positives.

1. Amazing map
2. Great weapons / models
3. Historically accurate mod.
4. Great vehicles.
5. Combat feels great.
6. Likely to get updates in the future along with hotifxes.
7. For the "little" that there is to the mod it all can easily provide 100's of hours of gameplay with friends or making missions e.c.t.

I'm really excited to see where this mod takes us and what gets added to it and changed e.c.t.

Pretty fun game, however I Wish they'd add a anti-cheat that actually worked, I seem to run in to hackers each match, does kind of get annoying, overall fun game though.

Previous review was a negative one but they fixed the game so I would recommend it again :)
