"Guns" that take multiple rounds to down a light enemy? Right here.
And I'd call it heresy that they freshly released a $40(k) cosmetic "unlock" that then forces you to grind to actually unlock anything.

My friends and I went into this game excited to see what the 40k universe had to offer in the modern light of gaming. We came away disappointed. The tutorial was great at showing us all the neat mechanics of melee combat and using different ranged weapons, however it also proved that melee is essential as well as forced as the ranged weapons carry simply 0 punch. It's difficult to justify bringing any of the heavier guns to the fight when even they will burn and entire 1-2 magazines before downing even common medium armor enemies. The melee is the only way to heal in fights other than waiting outside combat (you can't escape) for a time and regenerating armor points. When the melee works, it's pretty alright, but I would say it's not as satisfying when you're fighting for your life only to then fight for your life again this time against the games mechanics. The parrying only worked against the lighter enemies, and even when perfectly timed, did not yield the results it claimed it would in the tutorial. Stun locking is COMMON. Scarce supplies is only made worse by the fact you do not share supplies with your team mates so it's likely one or all of you will constantly be low or out of ammunition as well as hogging all the healing stims you can find.

Also, a widely advertised feature of this game was the customization. During the campaign, you get none of this. The only "customization" you get to pick is your starting pea shooters and your melee weapon. No classes outside operations or pvp as well as no upgrades during the campaign. Do not expect progression unless you like to grind the same 6 missions over and over or plan to play PVP with a very unbalanced roster.

TLDR, Lots of repetitive ON THE RAILS game play that ends up feeling unsatisfying. Very cinematic glorified cut scene of a game.

Excellent DLC really spices up the game! The new mechanics are fresh and excellent for team play. The levy idea is genius as it forces you to micro while also rewarding your persistent attention!

Great revival to the old rts genre! It's got classic elements we all love as well as some really innovative new features!

Very fun game! starts off easy and works it's way into being a massively complex factory! especially fun with friends!

Garrys mod is a great game, I would recomend it if you want to have fun times with friends! Although I have 1 complaint... I cant stand little children who are below 10 that play this game. They like to mic spam and disobey rules thus making the game much less fun. This problem is mainly on TTT but I fear it may spread. Other than that its one of my favorite games and Im always up for a good gmod match.
