Bad UI, movement feels bad, the start of the game is 90% dialogue with no real dialogue options.

Also some bugs which makes me wonder why did they take so long to launch a game that is buggy still.

At least on the launch I do not recommend this game.

So much for being a "souls like" game. Yet it doesnt even play like dark souls.

This game has fast paced combat, where you have to inteligently manage your Ki ( which is the stamina ) to defeat your enemies and not die in one or two shots. It will give you enemies with at least 4 move sets and bosses who can easily one shot you if you have slow reactions. You will level and upgrade your gear as you move on, each equipment piece has their on mods, and there is set bonuses if you are using the designated set pieces. The game allows you to have a variety of builds and playstyles, there are 7 types of weapons, not including 3 types of ranged weapons, ninjutsu and magic.

I do not recommend it if you are a casual player/ softcore player. I watched many streamers with the title "first playthrough" and two days later they simply stopped playing it, because it was too hard for them. The game is hard if you are not used to playing fast paced combat games and it has a very indepth combat system, meaning if you are not willing to spend some time studying it, you won't take advantage of the tools the game gives you to make it easier.

This game is mostly about the late game, which in dark souls is called ng+ and such. The main story is cool and all, but for me this game is all about it's combat, the hard enemies/bosses and it's looting/crafting system which can only be explored to its full potential on ng+s. If you are a fan of games like path of exile or diablo, this game has some great potential for you. There are item rarities, item mods you can reroll, item crafting, a lot of sets which give you specific bonuses, giving you the chance to create a variety of builds and have fun playing your own way through the game. For example you could ignore all the weapons on the game and just do a barehanded build, punching and kicking monsters to death.

I don't see a great flaw in the game, the gameplay is hard and punishing for your mistakes. It is repetitive since it is about the late game, farming itens, killing a lot of monsters and bosses repeatedly, but that is not a problem for me. It is very complex, there are a lot of features in it, meaning you really just have to explore it and look at everything, google stuff, really study it to get a full graps of what it offers, but thats a very good thing for me.

TL;DR: If you are a casual don't buy this. If you like a hard game that has a lot of features, very indepth, late game focused, farming and crafting itens, this game is for you.
