Quite enjoyable so far.

Still a couple of crashes, sometimes walls or districts looks a bit strange/buggy.
Wish I could move or demolish walls and districts.

Not recommended in its current state.

I'm a big fan of Total War and especially the Warhammer series.
The main campaign feature of WH3 is quite obnoxious and annoying. Its really fun and challenging in the first playthrough, but already in the second one its just annoying. This wouldn’t be an issue if like in WH2 we’d have the Workshop for modding enabled or access to the Immortal Empires Map. BUT Creative assembly have NOT released those core features of the game yet. And from what it looks like it might take months until we actually get it.
Also in terms of bug fixes and addressing the communities problems with the game, they have been very slow. We are still waiting for Patch 1.1 which will finally address the biggest issues. More than a month after release. Immortal Empires and the Workshop are still not anywhere in sight.
WH3 had and still has the potential to be the best game out of the series, but it feels like CA was not able to finish the game in time and instead of delaying once more they just released a game with 2/4 core features missing.

The game is still not perfect, but slowely gets better. Currently in a state where I'd recommend a buy.

The game is slowly progessing. Mods make it alot of fun.

Loved the game when it first came out. Still love it today.

DE fixed the most annoying issues for me (f.e. the close camera).
Not a perfect game but still lots of fun.

TL;DR If you haven't give this amazing game a try.

Let's start with the most important point:
Servers and community. Thats the point most people ♥♥♥♥♥ about. Yes Rust is a really though game. People are often ♥♥♥♥♥, kill you on sight, shoot you from their buildings etc etc. BUT if you do not like this part about Rust that doesnt mean there isn't a server for you. There are thousands of community and modded servers which serve every need. There are PvE servers, roleplay servers, servers for soloplayers only, servers with restricted tech and many more settings. What ever you want to play, you're gonna find it.

Gameplay. It's your basic survival game: you farm, hunt, kill and build. The building system is really good, gunplay is fun and farming, well farming is farming i guess.

Graphics. It looks really nice!

Performance. Overall I never had big problems with performance. If you want to play on max graphics you're gonna need a real good computer but besides that it runs smooth. From time to time there are certain updates (for example the new caves) that have performance issues. But the Devs always work on those issues and fix them (new caves havent been fixed 100% yet but its alot better now!)

Devs. I've never played an early access game where the devs were able to keep the game running and populated for such a long time. Facepunch is really open about their development and what they're working on. Alot of early access devs should look at Facepunch if they want to know how to pull off early access.
The only thing negative about the devs: Sometimes they listen a bit to much to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of the community.

Advice for newbies: Dont jump straight into an official server. Thats gonna be really frustrating! Watch some youtube videos about Rust and join a smaller community server where you'll be able to learn the basics of the game.
