THE GAME IS BLOODY GOOD the micro transactions are all petty stabs at a near perfect game!

You can STILL unlock boxes by playing the game YOU DO NOT NEED A KEY only for 1 specific box and who the hell cares anyway, get over yourselves!! just so you can wear a bloody mini skirt in the starting island while someone screams at you, it does nothing for your gameplay experience its all cosmetic!!

.Questing is fun if you pay attention to whats happening, otherwise its nothing special.

.PVP has a GW2 vibe but its not the same, sort of Planetside 2 feel as its very back and forth can be boring in some cases but I personally thought it was fun with 300 ping, would be nice to know how it feels to kill someone...... :/ feelsbadman

P.S dont expect Skyrim/Oblivian 2.0 its very much an MMO.

I have played both the mod and several other mods for the mod and this game. it was fun for the first day or two, but as your exitement for this game dies down you begin to see that it is not all that amazing. Yes it is in early access, Yes there are bugs but Rocket (the Dev) has not payed any attention to fixing these bugs instead he adds hats, is this what you call game changing? it is pretty much the mod survival wise but with really bad bugs ,even worse than the mod in my opinion. these bugs are just game breaking as they ruin how the player immerses themselfs in the game. my advise to anyone who is thinking about buying this "Game" is to spend however much Arma 2 combined op is and get dayz mod, and wait a long time for the game to progress, and by the time it is completly perfect (probably will take a veryyyy long time) you will be a Dayz master and will know all the in's and out's of how to survive in the world of DayZ.

Pros: great feeling of survival, fear, and really does test you decision making. lots of "potential" but not quite there yet.

Cons: lots of bugs, Bad optimisation, NOT ENOUGH ZOMBIES, NOT ENOUGH EVERYTHING, Dont get me started on Rocket, crap engine, to easy to hack or mod, players are really dumb in my opinion, Hats > Core gamplay


overall: i do not recommend this game at the moment as this game is in a broken state and is going to take a long time, Arma 2 combined op is cheap and the mod is free. the mod took a good 2 years to get to its state now and there are many branches of other mods to go with it. Epoch for example is an amazing addition to the mod as it allows you to sell and buy items at traders, and establish bases with your friends and meet new friends alon the way. my advise is to go and play Dayz epoch and become a great dayz player and once you have mastered the art you can go purchuse the standalone and hope for finality.
