A while back this game was actually pretty decent as all the decks had pretty interesting mechanics (minus dragoncraft which is basically meathead bashing) and whilst some rather strong decks stood out a lot they could actually be dealt with.

After coming back recently to find a new patch... the matches barely run around interesting mechanics and pretty much involve who can meathead bash the other person harder. The most recent expansion released a load of cards which are just downright ridiculous and laugh at the previous meta decks, my personal favourites effects involve:

Taking no dmg, isn't affected by card effects apart from stat change and has high atk (lol wtf).

Dealing dmg to enemy leader on spawn, when it dies you heal yourself and then this goes back to your hand... oh and it has a lot of atk so when you sacrifice a card to kill it... you get laughed at because this ♥♥♥♥ design of a card just comes back next turn... just to spawn in and dmg your leader.

When you have lost 30 cards, every turn all of your opponents followers take 6 dmg... oh and their leader. Sounds like it takes a while to setup right? Well forget that because they added a card that discards your hand and you draw that many cards back... oh and the meathead dragon deck already has discard based cards... that dmg your leader.

Every turn (for 2 turns) you summon a shadow follower and destroy it. This isn't really broken but this has completely ruined the whole playstyle of shadow decks. Half of the previous shadow cards which were a staple in these decks are useless now as a select few are just broken with this card and you meathead spam neutral cards so that only this select few amazing shadow cards have their effects activated.

Whilst this card is alive all necromancy effects don't need any shadows, this is pretty weak to the above playsty an- kk scratch that we already have a card which can be played on the same turn which can attack straight away and gets +10 atk/def when you have 20 shadows (which you don't need now lol), so yep... win a turn with just 2 cards played unless your opponent has ward spammed.
