Game actually good after Immortal empires update. Atleast on my end since i no longer suffer from constant 3-7fps after the update(Now almost always 60+ fps except for when turns are loading and it gets a bit choppy late game). You do however lack the most fun factions with just the base game, buy on sale and try collecting the DLC's you want in slow fashion since you also need to buy games 1 and 2 in order to use their respective DLC's in this game ;(. Might be wrong about that tho but it was my experience with mortal emp when i got game 2. Either way keyword to remember is "sale".
