Early Access Review
The graphics are great, the game play is smooth, and the replayability is up there. You can tell the devs really ironed it out prior to releasing it. So far no bugs or glitches have stood out to me during my first 6 hours of game play. I'd compare this to a higher quality version of games like Labrynthine, Devour, Lunch Lady etc. If you and your friends like those types of games then you will 10000% appreciate what Outlast Trials has to offer. It's pretty much a AAA game compared to those. Definitely fun with friends or just match making.

There's an OK amount of content (3 main maps and a handful of different modes per) and a lot of reasons to keep you playing, but is it worth $30 right off at this current state? I'd say kind of. When the issue is wanting more instead of wanting better, it's worth it to me. I was looking forward this this, Sons of the Forest, and RedFall all year and this is the only one that wasn't a buggy, clunky mess. I appreciate that the devs really put time and effort into it which is sadly a rare commodity these days, and I trust them to keep adding more during the Early Access period.

Also whoever thought of putting arm wrestling in the lobby is deserves a Nobel Prize or something. ♥♥♥♥♥ amazing.
