TLDR: Game is amazing with homies, strangers, and alone.

Dive into this procedural generated, mineral mining and bug killing game alone or with friends or randoms who are usually pretty competent from a pick of 4 distinct classes. The videos on the store page pretty much sum up the experience.

There are five difficulty levels to select for each mission ranging from hazard 1 to 5 with incrementing difficulty with increased enemy spawns to faster enemy movement.

Initially you'll be competing mission assignments and leveling up. As you level up there will be more things available to you to complete like cosmetic items and more weapons, and the Deep Dives and dreadful Elite Deep Dives. There is a LOT of content to enjoy and the cave generation is almost always unique but with the hours I have clocked I am beginning to notice the cave templates used in the generation like certain slopes and cliffs.

Gun sounds are almost all bad in my opinion. Fortunately, you can change the sound of every gun with audio mods.

There really isnt an "end-game" you kinda just compete missions and deep dives for cores and overclocks and cosmetics but thats fine with me, its such a fun game and I still have a lot of overclocks to find which spice up the gameplay and play style of each of the four classes. There are a lot of class synergies for ex. the gunner can shoot heated bullets and his revolver has an overclock that deals 300% more damage to enflamed enemies.

In short, its a fun coop-pve (cooperative player-versus-enemy) game that is enjoyable alone, with friends, or randoms as its easy to host or join a party.

If you like killing, building, magic, and boss fights on a pixel side-scroller then you've found what you're looking for.

At about 420 hours I felt like I had achieved all I wanted from Warframe without spending a dime but the game fails to help you understand the crucial modding system and how important it is and how and where to find better mods. To find better things you'll be spending a lot of time at the Wiki. Despite all that I mostly enjoyed every hour of Warframe.

Probably one of the best action horror games ever made. Tight corners, eerie music and immersive ui all help to pull you into the world of Dead Space. The grotesque creatures that sprint and slash at you are truly terrifying and creative monstrosities. As you creep throughout the ship, you discover more about these creatures and the purpose of Isaac's mission.
