Get the game, it's hella good! Shoot bugs, mine stuff, get drunk and repeat! There's a charming personality to this game that pulls you right in! An adventure in a box!

Deffs going to nominate this for Game of the Year 2020

Been following the game since early Beta and always LOVED the simplicity to style yet sheer variety of content that allows one to use their imagination to do about anything they want to. If you love unique lore, sandbox and Florans, this is certainly a great game to play!

To be fair, however, Starbound has certain set creatures which you will encounter repeatedly over and over no matter what planet you go to, as opposed to randomised beasts being the majority. The fossil collection is also entirely randomised, making it difficult to get complete sets easily, though that isn't really a bad thing.

There are many mods for this game to give more content, change style or add something new to it, all easily available and downloadable. Personally, however, I prefer vanilla Starbound and can't stop talking about it! Very inspirational game, would recommend!
