Early Access Review
Despite being an early access game, Emberward feels very polished and complete. It manages to make playing a tower defense game novel again with its tetris block lane building mechanic. It also has a system where you choose your towers/upgrades from a randomly generated selection at the end of each level giving the game a roguelike (binding of isaac/ nuclear throne/gungeon/vampire survivors) type feeling. The music isn't bad either. Overall, it's a pretty solid game.

Things you should know going in:

- Health packs are green due to Red Cross censorship, can be fixed by replacing the wad file with the included original.
- The EULA states "The DOOM + DOOM II service may be discontinued, and content modified, disabled, suspended or removed, at any time." Really hope this is in reference to the multiplayer, but either way the included DOS version can be played instead.
- There are no bindings for look left/right, so boomers that use it may wish to stick to their preferred mod or port. Bind options added in latest update.
- There is no free look, so zoomers trying it out for the first time find this very annoying. (Yes we really couldn't look up and down back then, stop asking.)
- No support for .pk3 mods or zscript, no multiplayer mod support, no mod manager or equivalent system.
The in game mod menu has been improved, but could still use some work. There is a wad upload system. People keep uploading wads that won't run on this port's engine since it lacks features mentioned above.

Overall, this is a great port if you want to experience the official DOOM & DOOM II releases, as well as the other included levels and expansions. The new "Legacy of Rust" expansion is really fun and has a great sound track. The multiplayer is hilarious, but is prone to crashing. The fact that player collision can't be turned off is awful on some maps. Additionally, this release finally offers achievements, so you can show off your epeen by completing them all and showcasing it on your profile like myself. Modders & mod players will want to stick to gzdoom, and multiplayer fanatics will want to try Zandronum rather than play this port.

It's just one of those simple polished games that is infuriatingly difficult to get good at but lets you feel like a god when mastered. Tight controls, great music. Game over. Begin. Game over.

Easy to set up four controllers, this game is a riot for 2 or more players. Story is kinda short, but the physics based gameplay is really chaotic.

Early Access Review
It's basically GTA, but you're a frog. The goal of the game is to get high. Real high. Jump higher than any frog has gone before. This game does not have a lot of content yet, still in early access, best when played with friends.
