I let this game pass me by several times before finally purchasing and I'm so glad I did. I am frankly obsessed. I am a big fan of the building/decorating aspect of the sims-type games but this adds a really fun layer of satisfaction.
Also you can turn off the cockroaches in settings!! (That was a major turn off for me in the previews so I was stoked for that option)

Definitely buy it!!
The expansions are great too!!
