The game play is fun but there are so many absolutely mind boggling decisions that piled up start to just ruin the experience of this game. The most obvious being that this game may have the most egregious monetization of any multiplayer I have seen. You get absolutely nothing from playing this game, if your not willing to drop hundreds of dollars to make your spartan look somewhat unique I hope you like the starting armor cause that what you will have for what looks to be many months. The event that just started doesn't even give you the full armor they advertised you have to buy the parts from the store it is absolutely ridiculous. Apparently going free to play means you are allowed to charge people there life's savings to allow them to change the color of there spartan to one specific color that only works for some armor not all.
Progression is almost zero with no benefit to actually playing game modes, it actually rewards people for sitting in a shade turret all game desperately trying to get that one kill for a challenge instead of helping win the game. Melee combat is awful there is no consistency to how far you can lunge and hit someone, swords will often just shoot you threw a person allowing them to just shoot you in the back. I am really hopeful that changes are made but if anything shows from recent events, their we take feedback to heart talks are a complete lie to quell the anger they know will come with their insanely greedy decisions.

in my opinion the best looter shooter out at the moment, the game really shines when playing coop with friends
