First review I've ever written:

this game is fun, the community is tight, and the developers care

I have never played a Kings Quest game before but my god; this game is a piece of art. The scenery is amazing, the textures are great, and the characters wonderfully voice acted. Despite having rather simple gameplay, I througoughly enjoyed solving the puzzles and exploring the large map in just the first chapter of this keyboard adventure (Mouse is not required fand i find the WASD controls to be more natural natural). I am tempted to play the old retro games just because of this new title. (no knowledge of the preveios game was required to play this game but i probably missed a few nods to the previous titles)
You should NOT look up a guide while playing this game, it ruins the experience and is honestly unnecessary (The puzzles arent all easy and requre thinking but the game offers many hints if you're willing to listen carefully). Enjoy yourself if your stuck, appreciate the journey (you will in this gorgeous game) and try new angles to puzzles for there is often more than one way to solve it. Do not hesitate to buy this game if you are looking for an adventure thats easy on the eyes, relaxing, and touching.

This game gave me all of the feels and its beautiful.
