Loads of Potential; Feels Unfinished

For the hardcore realism enthusiast, Post Scriptum hits the nail on the head. Very few games make you feel a sense of danger in the heat of combat like this one. Conceptually, this game is a 10/10, but it's shortcomings hold it back for sure. If you're looking for a highly polished, extremely user-friendly experience, Post Scriptum is not for you. It's going to be a few patches before this game truly starts to come into it's own.

Pros:
-Incredible sound and effects. Soundscape feels incredibly dynamic. Truly above and beyond anything I've experienced.

-Extremely large maps create a very sandboxy experience and accommodate true combined arms combat.

-Attention to detail/Realism. The game is focused around realism and doesn't have that arcadey, fast-paced feel most AAA titles do. E.g., Some lone wolf isn't going to parachute off a building, drop a C4 on your Tiger tank and sprint away...

-Heavily teamwork oriented. This could be a bad thing depending on your preferences. If you're looking for a comparable experience to Battlefield, look elsewhere. P.S. demands strong communication between the players on each team in order to be successful. There is no flashing minimap covered in icons; if no one tells you you're being flanked, or an MG is ahead, you die.

Cons:

-Poor optimization. I'm going to be frank. This game looks absolutely grotesque on any settings below 'High', and running the game at those settings requires some pretty hefty hardware. For reference, I'm getting anywhere from 40 - 70 FPS with an i7 4790k and a GTX 1060 6GB @ 1080p.

-Loaded with bugs/unfinished features. Let me emphasize that most of the issues aren't gamebreaking, but they still detract from the overall experience. It's going to take a few patches to iron the game out. E.g., the sights on the Stuart tank are completely misaligned; the Panzer III is incredibly unresponsive and laborious to drive; deploying machine guns feels very inconsistent (some ledges are too high, others too low); poor UI - the game feels very clunky and hard to use at times and doesn't do a good job at explaining it's features.

All in all, I would rate this game a 6.5/10 with the potential to be 9.5/10. If you are patient and willing to look past some of the temporary (hopefully) flaws, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Otherwise, I would suggest you wait a few months and see where it's at.
