I was enjoying this game well enough.
Then a new patch came through, and the game started crashing mid-way through every mission I tried.
A lot of people are having this problem. That being said - until that problem is resolved, I would recommend against playing the game.
It will be. But right now, the game is unplayable.

There are plenty of games that offer fights against other players; even persistent wars against each other.
As for scale, this one is good - 50 or so maps each the size of a HALO map to fight over, when the frontiers are nearby.
As for options, there are plenty of combat-oriented classes and class-specific as well as cross-class modifications to benefit any given play style.
As for vehicles, you've got 4 aircraft and 6 ground craft with customizable weapons and maneuvering chasis.

The main reason I keep coming back to this game is because you never know what to expect - it's not real-to-life and it's a sci-fi world, but the one thing it does very well is simulate the chaos of war.

War is never what one expects - you can train to be in stressful situations, you can train your reaction time and even be comfortable when artillery is landing around you.

But are you ready for the sheer chaos of war?
