This game is simply not playable for new players, and players in the game can hardly make any progress without a premium account. This game went from a fun F2P into a microtransaction mess.

I picked up this game thinking I was going to hate it.
but I learned a couple of things from this amazing game:
1. How to burn your own crew to a crisp in under a minute
2. How to NOT train your crew to survive in 0 O2 conditions
3. SHOW NO MERCY
4. No matter how much scrap(money) you have there will ALWAYS be something you cant buy because its too expensive

7.There is NO easy way
8. ALWAYS GO NEAR STARS THAT EMIT SOLAR FLARES ON A CONSTANT BASIS

10. DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT. PISS OFF THE RNG GODS. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU MAKE A JUMP TO A SECTOR AND A, B, AND C HAPPEN AT THE SAME TIME (A- YOUR SHIP GETS BOARDED BY PIRATES, B- YOUR SHIP GETS SET ON FIRE DUE TO A SOLAR FLARE AND C- YOUR SHIP IS UNDER HEAVY FIRE BY A PIRATE SHIP WITH 4 BREACH LASERS) UNTIL THEN YOU WILL NOT KNOW THE TRUE FEARS OF BEING A SPACE CAPTAIN.

In all seriousness this game is hard as nails, but fun.
