EVE Online claims to be newbie-friendly, but my experience has shown otherwise. Veteran players exploit new players through the recruit-a-friend program, luring them with promises of mentorship only to prey on their naivety. Suicide ganking by multiboxing veterans using destroyers is rampant, and new players are often the target. These seasoned players lure newcomers into their nullsec and wormhole corps, treating them as mere statistics rather than genuine allies.

I have invested a staggering $30,000 in this game since 2003, a decision I deeply regret. The illusion of earning a ship through hard work only to lose it in seconds has been shattered. Players can now buy their way into expensive ships with advanced tech modules using skill injectors, undermining the sense of achievement.

EVE Online has become more of a job than a fun space game, consuming your time and offering little in return. I urge potential players to find other games that won't waste your time or money. This game is NOT worth it.

The official CCP Eve Online discord is toxic AF and will gaslight you into thinking your mistakes are your fault by saying 'Well we have the resources for you to read'. If I could give this a negative star review, I would.

Want an MMO full of boomers who threaten people's lives outside of the game only to be temp banned for half of a day? Want a crap customer support staff who will not only read off a script to you as if you're robot? Look no further! New World is right for you then.


It's a fun game and I would still enjoy it if it weren't for the constant messages with people saying the "N word to anyone with constructive criticism. The most offensive thing I have seen so far besides some boomer threatening to find me IRL and kill me was some guy screaming at another guy in GLOBAL saying, " Die screaming in a fire you N word " and the dude got a 3 hour ban? The guy who threatened to kill me got a temporary ban and was back in chat saying racist/sexist remarks. Amazon will drop to their knees in any form of contact and pwomise you that they wove their customers and value their safety. ABSOLUTELY GARBAGE! Do not buy this game, do not suggest it to a friend.

You will find yourself in a cesspool regardless of the server you go to while customer supports sit on their hands when it comes to dealing with the huge amount of game breaking bugs ingame.

I server transferred on the first wave so I could avoid the guy who threatened my life, then they disabled transfers. I spent an entire week jumping through loops and contacting Amazon/steam to grant me one last free transfer in the hopes of getting off yet another toxic server. Well after a week of contacting them, they finally said, " No ". They will not issue you a refund, however you can go to your bank and talk to the claims department, they will issue a reverse charge only to yank your money out of these thieves hands and put it back where it belongs.

Ive played a decent amount of hours and sunk well over 20 or so bucks into this game, and I have to say it is a complete piece of crap! Devs ban you for writing negative reviews or criticizing their work, and overall they wont refund my money even though the game has not been playable for almost two whole weeks! Steam please before there's some sort of petition or something legal refund our money and remove this crap game!

I love this game as much as I love using the slow down button from hauling so much ass. Seriously... fun game!

By far the worst game ever. Yes I did enjoy using flutes and such..spent a lot of cash using seal breaking powders..however the customer support SUCKS ASS. So many glitches in the game that when you submit a ticket about getting the item you spent nearly 50 hours straight farming to only bug out when it appears..to be told sorry nothing we can do. Sony word of advice. Drop this game. It's a horrible game and I REFUSE to play again and will be informing all my friends and gaming community to avoid this game. Thanks. :)
