Don't know why this game got mixed reviews, I loved it.

It looks great and I never had any performance issues as of December 2024.

The combat wasn't great as sometimes enemies will do a grab attack and there's no way to telegraph it, but I liked the fact that you could always fall back to melee.

The game loses it's scary-factor after the first hour or so, but Dead Space had the same problem. It's hard to make a game scary when the player always has the opportunity to defend himself.

The fact that the game doesn't have a waypoint kinda forces you to explore a bit, which is always a plus for me.

All in all, if you liked Dead Space 1 and 2, you're gonna like this game as well.

Elden Ring is truly the best single-player game of the decade for me so far. FromSoftware has delivered an exceptional gaming experience that stands out in an industry often plagued by microtransactions and cash grabs. This masterpiece offers a richly immersive world, intricate gameplay, and a compelling story, all without resorting to in-game purchases or cosmetic sales.

It's refreshing and heartening to see developers who genuinely care about crafting a remarkable game rather than focusing on how to milk money from players. Elden Ring is a testament to what can be achieved when a development team prioritizes quality and player experience above all else. We should support developers like FromSoftware who continue to create games that remind us of the true essence of gaming. If you haven't played Elden Ring yet, you're missing out on a game that sets a new standard for the industry.

not good, lot of awkward silences, unpolished details, combat is like eating plain toast because of how bullet-spongey the enemies are and sneaking is too time-consuming for how unreliable it is. I also get constant crashes and my gear is well above the recommended.

not breathtaking in the slightest

Early Access Review
fun game with or without friends. I met some great people playing it <3.
if you play it long enough, you can get really good at it and it stops being a casual game.
dev team is always working on new updates, which is great.

only downsides are that it stops being scary after you play it for a few hours (no jumpscares) and that shades are tricky ghosts to guess
