Hmm well... I wanted Miku's games on PC but this isn't really what I expected.

+Miku's official game debut for PC
+Runs perfectly smooth on 6700k & 1080 Ti (I'd hope so!)
+Controls feel okay?
+Miku dancing in VR of course!
-Gameplay is passable at best
-Graphical options not available
-Visually looks pretty low quality on the Vive, there's MMD VR that looks better than this.

Over all I can enjoy it enough with just the music video portion. The gameplay wasn't very enjoyable to me. Not a chance in hell I'll refund my waifus game tho. Buy it if you love your waifu?

I really don't know how to explain how bad this game is on steam. Do not give this ♥♥♥♥ company money until they start doing proper ports.

-60fps
Yeah, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ it is. I've tried on two machines now on different displays. Game may report 60, feels like it's barely holding 25 on a 1080 Ti and a 1070.

Edit: On further looking into this, the frame timing all over the place is the cause of the game feeling jittery. Can't find a fix.

-Borderless Windowed
It's 2018...

-Downright stupid UI design
So lets color code our buttons to match Xbox controllers, but those arn't the default layouts and let's use randomly assigned letters to commands to make it even more a hassle to get a comfortable button layout going. Also don't shift-tab during char selection to chat on steam. Selects a character for player two for using kb at all.

-English VAs
Why even bother? You can walk down the street and get people to put more effort in their lines. Those VAs arn't worth whatever you paid them. Lines are dry, poorly acted, zero effort.

-Balance
LOL. that's all I can really say.

-Playability
As a fighting game? Nope. Skip it. It's seriously bottom of the barrel. If you're here for cat girls in skimpy outfits, decent music an... okay story? Sure I guess. I got it off a humble bundle as an extra, that's how much I think it's worth.

Early Access Review
Tons of bugs, awful community, why are people playing some knock off arma that somehow manages to run WORSE than arma?

Good concept but far too little content and what there is, seems like a rough draft more than a finished product. Some pros and cons...

+Visuals are mostly great
+Voice acting is much better than we're used to seeing from a western game
+Well optimized
+Atmosphere does what it should, audio in general is high quality and helps set the feel of each location

-Visuals have a massive quality difference, its very noticable what was given time and care and which assets were just slapped together and called good enough. It creates a big disconnection from feeling immersed
-Live action actors? This is just weird and again, ruins immersion because it feels out of place and just looks terrible when blended in with the game world.
-Combat is boring, repetitive and in general feels more like a concept of a combat system than a finished product. Zero depth.
-Level design is uninspired and boring. Game is relying entirely on visual appeal rather than intricate level designs / encounters.
-Enemy variety, you'll be fighting the same enemies start to finish more or less. There is no variation in how you need to engage any of the enemies either.
-Puzzle design is about on par with Skyrim. Which means they came up with 1 puzzle and re-used it the entire game. It's also a terribly boring puzzle system that requires no thought, only finding a visual pattern.
-Length, for $30 this game will only last you 5-7 hours. It is not exactly a good 'value'.

I definitely like the concepts in this game but it really doesn't feel like something you'd pay money for. More like a lengthy tech demo.

Short but fun. If you like action games, lolis, and beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of everything, buy it.

Looks great, plays great and it's true to the series. What more could we ask for?

Lots of content, fun space exploring. Launch was a bit rough but it's fun these days.
