I sadly have to say that I wouldn't recommend the game. Sure the gameplay is fun, but there is the issue of the atrocious micro payments and also what is the very reason I stopped buying everything that EA ever touched. DLCs in a full price game, aye fine by me if you expand the story, say Witcher style where they added a whole lot of things with their DLCs, but it's simply unacceptable to make people pay for a story that was clearly meant to force people into buying the DLCs, but which was otherwise good, if they want to play it until the end or force them into buying the third installation. An industry that behaves this way and has the audacity to complain about piracy is just incomprehensible to me. If you want people to pay for your stuff then offer up some quality products and don't take a piss on them at every little chance you get, because if you don't care about your clientele why would/should they care about you? Yeah you might go broke and won't produce another title, but with the flood of games that are on the market is your franchise really that relevant to the individual? Most people probably can't even remember half of the games in their steam library

Deus Ex was the 2nd game I ever preordered outside of any game by Blizzard, who curiously never managed to disappoint me in the slightest. Once made the mistake with Dragon Age 2, now with this. Never preordering again. If they don't make up for the crap they pulled by offering the DLC for free (yeah i know, one can dream) or at least offering it at a low price (ha ha ha ...) I will probably just drop the series and Square Enix games with it.

Either buy it for the gameplay and ignore the unavoidable story DLCs or just wait for it to go on sale for 5€ with all the DLCs included so they will make as little money as possible off of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC/Microtransaction scam. (Yes very liberal use of the word scam)
