Great amount of personality in the characters despite the limitations of the engine and the small team here. Awesome visuals and a story with some twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. The game encourages you to explore and provides you with consequences or benefits of your actions. Being an RPG maker game, its a wonderful entry to pick up for a fun night in this epic alternate history universe.

Developer: Saw that there was localization for English, but would love to help translate the game into French or Romanian if desired.

This game is an interesting experience. There are parts that are great and parts that feel greatly ignored. After playing for a bit myself and doing some research in the reviews here are my conclusions on this game:

The main story has great writing and that is just about where it stops. Stick very heavily to the main story unless you want some of the costumes that come from the side quests.
The best difficulty is investigation at highest and combat at lowest, as there are many many many features about the combat that generally dont track outside of any game past 2004, just to mention a few, hitbox issues when there are more than one enemy on screen, no feedback for a hit versus a miss, near impossible scarcity of bullets/the materials to craft them, and no portrayed stats of any kind for weapon advantages or weaknesses, even a damage bar in the inventory would have been nice.

From what I have played, and what I have read, this is a great game if you can get it on sale! The atmosphere and writing are amazing, and the features that bog down the experience are mostly tied to the open world and if you attempt exploration. If you stick to the main story and love the writing, the repetitive nature of the features doesnt spoil the experience. Otherwise, this game is not worth the full price, but on sale it is a nice experience in the Lovecraft inspired mythos. Expect around 20 hours of gameplay if you take your time to read while focusing on the main story. Avoid sidequests as they are repetitive, confusing and generally a waste of time/ will make the features feel dull.

you are always one step from disaster. thats what makes it fun. youre gonna need to get skills to be able to live longer than a couple months, but the grind in learning the skills is fun. dont get too attached to your character, and maybe watch some tips and tricks videos to get you started. *UNTIL THE BUILD 41 IS OUT OF BETA, USE THE BETA BRANCH IT IS SO MUCH BETTER IN SO MANY WAYS*

A great game for messing around trying to dismantle empires and creating your own, steep learning curve, after 60+ hours i still dont know everything i need to play, but tbh its easy to set things up and wait for events, only took me a hour or so to learn the basics. Have had a blast every since. 10/10

I love this game. The art style is amazing, the game really has no flaws so far other than a few objects clipping, but i can deal with that. The only problems I have with this game is that it really needs more areas to explore. i havent played the game that much but already have a mental map of the areas that have buildings and the ones that dont. this may be im just really good at remembering places, that tends to happen. But other than that, it is a great game with a great start so far. cant wait for the next update.
