Pre release DLC is in short an absolute abomination and cannot be tolerated. This is the king of slipperly slope crap that developers will start to do if allowed. Ark took a massive hit with this as did the studio. I cannot believe anyone would be so stupid to even try this king of thing. I am massively dissapointed.

One of the all time greatest RPGs. A must buy for pretty much anyone interested in high quality games.

Its looking great so far! I cant wait for more!

WAAAGGGHHHH!!!

I got it for $7 or so when it was on sale and I am glad I jumped on it. While this game is not amazing it is a solid RPG, but I would not venture forth to say it is worth the current price of $30.

If you like RPGs in general you wil lfind something to like here for sure. It was messy in parts and I felt that it was a bit rough, but it still delivered an overall enjoyable experience from start to finish,

The story was solid and it does merit a second playthrough which I may start up soon as the main story (doing all side quests) only took around 10 hours.

Overall I would not recommend it for the full price, but if its on sale for around $15 I would say get it. Its a solid experience from start to finish.

Very solid game. The main story is lacking any sort of depth beyond revenge, but there is a good deal of content here. I buzzed through the main missions and played with the nemesis system a heathy bit and finished in 11 hours. That was 100% IGNORING side missions like upgrading your weapons or freeing slaves.

I really enoyed and still enjoy this game. The ONLY bad thing about this game is the main story in its brevity and lack of interesting pull / lack of character depth. Everything else is great.

This game is actually rather shallow. You have a wide open world with alot to explore and... well thats it. There is virtually NOTHING else to do in this game beyond the story. You can do super TINY lil missions like "Go kill a lion with this bow" and capture little camps so that your buddies can take it over and even then the fight is easy on account of it being a simple "kill 8 dudes" kinda deal.

The story is pretty bad in my opinion. You play a total wimp rich white boy with less hair on his chest than a newborn. There is no choice in the majority story at all which would not be so bad if the story was good. The supporting cast is relatively bland and fail to be interesting or even create any sort of bond between you and them. I only like one on your friends because he looks like Nick from L4D2.

Your character (besides being a limp-weenie) is an utter ♥♥♥♥♥♥. CHECK YOUR CORNERS DANGIT! The story of the game also involves a large amount of tribal ritual mumbo jumbo that I find utterly retarded. There are alot of drug-related sequences you go into in this game to the point where I just know my guy is going to have a serious addiction.

The combat is just pathetic. Its not interesting due to a lack of enemy intelligence and overall difficulty. The game is so easy and I played it on the 2nd hardest difficulty. I could have pushed it to the max with little difference. The AI are so retarded and present no challenge. They all act as independent units with no teamwork at all other then random chance bringing them together. Stealth in this game is alright in of itself, but feels entirely hallow due to knowing that you can breeze through the enemy 12x as fast if you just ran in. Stealth killing the enemy loses its pleasure when you know the enemy are all retarded.

The crafting is weak as all it results in is you becoming MORE overpowered and giving you even LESS of a challenge.
The story is crap.
The combat is crap.
The story is MEGA crap.
The main character is ULTRA crap.
Buuuuuut the game is very pretty. The visual design is by far the strongest part of this game.

Is it a bad game? No. I dislike it because I value characters and story very highly and this game utterly fails in this department destroying my attempt at an un-biased view.

Had so many friggin problems getting this game to work. Had to create new accounts that refused to link to one another and all sorts of bull dung. Got so frustrated I said the game can go flub itself with a raccoon of dubious sexual orentation and fetishes as they choke on the $5 I spent.

Awesome game.

Amazing all around. A must buy for anyone interested in this paticular game or RPGs in general. I played the absolute crap out of it on my ps3. GOTY 2009.
