I love this game but I'm giving it a negative review because I want to be in the next game

Not worth it. If you want to play with friends and really want to support the devs, then by all means buy this DLC, but if not then save your money. I finished this solo on Nightmare mode and it's terrible. WAY too many enemies, most of them die from 2-3 swings of the best items in the game and the boss fights are terrible. Won't spoil too much but the last boss fight is probably the worst arena I've ever played

I genuinely love this game and I've only played like 40 minutes (as of writing this)
Imagine if Battlefield V or a remastered BF1942 was like this
Still needs quite a lot of work, especially in the VA section, but other than that it's a pretty solid game for a small indie team

Ignore the manchildren who keep yapping on and on about how many bugs this game has. Yes, it is a bug-ridden game, but that doesn't mean it isn't enjoyable. I had a ton of fun with it even with all the bugs.

You will run into a lot of bugs. A lot of them. The only solution is to quicksave every 5 minutes and reload if you get a game-breaking bug, although most of the glitches/ bugs I encountered didn't actually affect anything other than the immersion (delayed textures mostly)

The story is fun and engaging too and the characters you meet are actually incredibly well-written (Panam is best-girl btw). The quests are fairly linear, however some of them do actually involve you making decisions. The lifepaths, however, are a joke, and a badly written one too. They don't change anything other than the first 20 minutes of the game and a few dialogue decisions later in the game. The endings, also, to put it simply, suck dog ass. None of them feel rewarding and I actually like the game better without them.

There's a lot more I could've written but... I forgot. This is the main problem with this game. After you finish the story and the side quests, there really isn't anything else to do. Sure, there are gigs and those police alerts or whatever they are, but they are hardly side quests with story in them, they're just filler. The devs did say they're working on new content, but too little too late. At least the game has mods with which you can play with it.

Another gripe I have with the game is that I think that it can't be saved. There's just so many bugs and glitches that need to be ironed out (I know what I said in the beginning of the review, but at times the glitches can be incredibly annoying) and the endings are just horrible. I don't think that CDPR can turn this ship around, but I hope they do.

All in all, 7.5/10 maybe 8/10 if it gets polished

Having played this game a second time (I torrented it back in March), only this time on a harder difficulty, I can safely say that this game, made by EA (granted it's Respawn, but they're stil owned by the great satan), is... really good.

The story is really cool, although a bit short for the high 60€ price mark, the characters are funny and memorable and the gameplay is actually much better than I had expected. This might seem like a watered-down version of Dark Souls, but in Star Wars, and it is. It very much is a dumbed-down Dark Souls game, but I still enjoyed every last minute of it.

Granted, there isn't a lot of replayability (you have a New Game+ but you can replay this game only so many times before getting bored), but they've recently added a Combat Arena and trials, which are actually challenging, so I guess you can still squeeze a few more hours in it.

However, before buying, you should take into account that this game was made with a controller in mind, not a keyboard. The game literally tells you this when you first boot it up, and for good reason. The bindings feel wonky and they almost always have a delayed effect. You will find yourself rebinding your keys, just as I did, but I guess it adds more challenge? The skills also aren't that much of a game-changer apart from a few Force/Damage/Health-related ones, as you can't actually use them unless you have feline-like reflexes or play on easier difficulties (I played on Grandmaster and it was really tough at times)

All said and done, this game is awesome: the graphics, the story and the gameplay are all almost excellent and the game doesn't have any game-breaking bugs (at least that I know of), yet I don't recommend it at 60€, maybe wait for sale like I did and get it for 20ish€.

All in all, definitely 9/10
