Coming from Xcom 1, I didn't like most of its features especially the autosave which cannot be turned off. (wtf?) Also, this game is pretty easy compared to Xcom 1, where cover bonus is absolutely unnecessary. You will win most of the battles without even moving at all given the high attack and skill range of most of the characters, and those that require attack at melee range such as Zephyr cannot take cover anyway. I turned it to the "impossible" difficulty but still too easy for me (I have never failed a single mission until the end), probably because some character is OP such as patchwork due to a glitch with subdue that gives free turn.

All in all... I still got hooked and addicted to it for more than 20 hours straight and broke the game. So.. it's definitely a YES from me.

The best JRPG I'ver ever played. This game makes other RPG looks like garbage. Nice interesting battle system, perfect looking atmospheric graphic design, nice story that never gets boring. Nice customizable fashion for aesthetic purpose which I enjoy so much. I intereacted with every single NPC in the game, and I play it at an extremely slow speed because i'm afraid I might finish it too soon. Thank you Tales series!
