Afterbirth+ is an expansion that is divisive for the BoI community: Many will say it's good, others hate it with a passion, some say it does the job. Where do my views come into this?

Pros: New items, new consumables, some new characters, the basic stuff. Although I can say that I love some of the items that were introduced throughout Afterbirth+, I can also say that many of them leave a lot to be desired (Tonsil is the biggest offender.) Overall, the added content is pretty good gameplay wise, and who can dislike bashing someone's head with a bone club?
Additionally, Afterbirth+ introduced official mod support, with a Steam community full of brilliant ideas, wacky tactics, and fun shenanigans to experience.

Cons: The main issue that I have seen with the expansion is that some room layouts can be really cheap, and force you to take damage. The worst enemies by far that was introduced are the portals. If you don't hurry your butt off to destroy them, they will spawn about 1-2 enemies at the least and 3-4 at the most, which makes the flow of the fight very uneven, Also, the added final bosses (Delirium and greedier Ultra Greed) feel like a mess if you intend to fight them with a subpar build or a very vulnerable character. But these issues can be alleviated by getting enough experience with the game (where I am with only 3 achievements missing, by playing with good focus and knowledge, almost anything works.)
Another issue I see is that some item requirements can change for unlocks, such as God Head. In this case, unlocking it in Afterbirth would be a good idea before buying Afterbirth+.

I know there are some issues with Afterbirth+, but it shouldnt deter you from playing it, with still solid gameplay, endless replayability, and access to mods. Definitely try it out, but try and get all the items you want to unlock in Afterbirth first.

So I found this new site....




Let's be honest: the game is decent.

It is very fun, with its deep tactical possibilities, high learning curve, and devastating weapons (brotip: keep your crosshair at head level).

The maps are nice, well thought, and cool looking.

Skins. I mean, we all like skins, right ?




But...

The playerbase seems to be composed of sociopaths, whose prime interest are only to be getting out of MG by being boosted by their Supreme friends while laughing at silvers, and profitting from skin trading by roll gambling either online or on the cases.


Not that they are a problem, until they just begin to treat you like a Bizon (a.k.a trash), kick you out of pure, unadulterated salt or become script kiddies because they gave up on becoming Global.




Do I recommend to buy the game ?

It is personally up to you. Make your decision based not on those ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, but rather if you want to experience an intricately designed gaming project.

Don't hate the game, hate the players.

-Psychopatically hilarious cast of mercenaries,employed by two dead investors of gravel and spending their cash to a shirtless man beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of endangered yetis: you bet your ass

-SANDVICH:check

-SCIENCE:check

-Stereotypes and their denigration: protip, try to buy something from the store to become premium (trust me,its worth it)

-Competitive: ITS HAPPENING,PEOPLE. ITS HAPPENING !!!
