Valve Index user -- game won't launch in VR. Changed to launch in OpenXR in steam properties, reverted it, went into Davigo VR settings, turned OpenXR runtime to Steam VR. Nope. reverted BACK to regular launch on Steam, tried this twice. Restarted Steam VR, restarted PC, unplugged, replugged headset. While viewing through the lenses on the headset, the game will load into steam's usual vr loading screen, but just stays there indefinitely, never loading in to the game, while the game just loads on the monitor. Refunded, will try again in the future.

Seems to be going through the Battlefield 4 treatment -- starts out bad then gets better through updates. Not a fan of this approach but unfortunately it's the reality of game production in 2022. It's playable now and actually quite fun, and this is coming from a longtime Battlefield player.
