Outlast Trials successfully raises the bar from its previous entries, now offering a thrilling multiplayer experience. This game expertly dives back into psychological horror, combining explicit scenes, heart-pounding moments, and challenging puzzles that can keep you engaged even on replay. If you’re a fan of PvE multiplayer horror, it's a M-U-S-T.

The Best:
✔ Regular updates and events keep the game fresh, showing the developers' dedication and continuous hard work.
✔ A variety of tasks and enemies, each with unique behavior and chase mechanics, add depth to every encounter.
✔ Excellent optimization with quick bug fixes—so far, no game-breaking issues.
✔ It’s genuinely terrifying, with moments that can make even seasoned horror fans jump. Some of my friends even play it without sound!
✔ No pay-to-win elements: everything you buy is purely cosmetic or related to the battle pass, which is achievable through gameplay.

The Worst:
✘ If you start solo, it lacks a learning curve and can be quite challenging at the beginning; as a lone wolf, progression is slower and noticeably designed for team play.
✘ Load transitions can feel a bit tedious when starting or finishing maps, though they don’t break the game’s immersion.

Yes, American Arcadia is a game that takes you straight into the world of The Truman Show, Big Brother, or the concept of Foucault's panopticon. The story introduces us to one of its characters, portraying a life of tranquility, with few surprises, and little information explaining why we control this character specifically and not someone else.

It's a 2D game that continuously strives to break the "fourth wall," and it succeeds. I recommend it, as long as you're the type of person who enjoys and values the effort of indie companies that create these games with a lot of love and care.

Its pros include the voices, music, and how the story manages to captivate you, especially as it progresses.

However, it has its drawbacks, and I'll narrow them down to two: The volume of the music is excessively high at certain moments, making it impossible to reduce, so be cautious about that. Additionally, there's an issue where certain events (whether musical, character interactions/conversations, etc.) get stuck in an infinite loop when interacting with an object or repeatedly passing through the same area, disrupting the immersive atmosphere the game creates.

It's a solid 8, and I look forward to more releases in a similar style, hoping that they can refine these and other aspects I haven't detailed to keep my review from becoming too lengthy.

A nice "remake" of the original The Last Stand, that i used to play in web.
In a few words: Do you need a fresh, indie, not easy but not extremly difficult, with a lot of zombies and weapons? this is the game for you.

The Best:
✔ The background or the "lore", is simple but effective.
✔ The different style of ways that you can play: try 2kill them all, hide - pick and leave, or just go to the needs for U and your player and go.
✔ A significant number of weapons (mele & distance), needs, tools, etc.
✔ there are a few models of zombies, just above the limit of "a few", so it's fine.

The Worst:
✘ Still a quantity of bugs, the more significant: the reflection of the fire on the ground, sometimes it's impossible to know untill your character is already on fire.
✘ The "background" of your initial character is not important. On the beginning yes, but just for the initial items, then when the base is already developed, it's meaningless.
✘ When you finish the final mission, the game want you to "replay" some extractions, but in my case, in 3 characters, could make it in the max difficult.
✘ Need to continue the story, or a new DLC... i felt a taste of "this is incomplete... sorry but can't finish the game like this".
