Like playing Chess, except you need to buy the Queen, Bishops, Knights, Rooks and some of the pawns. Leaving you with a king and 3 pawns you can actually use while the rest are made out of paper with school glue and tape.

Graphics wise, gameplay wise, and mechnics wise. Pretty damn good like playing ARMA III. Problem is the players. You'd rather solo a bot game than play in PvP. Trust me. If you came for multi-player? Go back to CS:GO. It's less horrible there.

I just played for like 3 hours online, pretty bad experience. You have guys who are suppose to camp the obj and hold the enemies off. Just so you know we have like 15 reinforcement waves. Then you have the enemies who have 5 reinforcement waves. We managed to LOSE ALL THE WAVES AND LOST THE OBJECTIVES 3 TIMES IN A ROW.

And this isn't like 1 game it's been like 6-8 different games. and still you have campers who are riflemen or fighters who can't push. I became a sniper to get picks, and instead I pushed instead of the riflemen. interesting isn't it? And pushing as one lone person sure isn't making the job easy especially when you're walking into a death trap of 3 people inside. 1 is already enough to maul you to death.

As everyone knows, whoever plays this game is OBVIOUSLY a RWBY fan, but if you're not, try out the show! Volume 1-3 are currently available to watch on YouTube with a price of a subscribe. ;3 Volume 4 is currently ongoing on RoosterTeeth First⭐️, that's a paid subscription (free episodes on YouTube after a week airing too).

Now time to go on about the game:
Pros
- Fast paced action play
- Easy controls for new players and surprisingly challenging in higher difficulties
- Art designs are exactly the same from the show
- Everything is easily understood within 5 mins of the game (if you're a experienced gamer, which I'm sure you are)
- Challenges that are actually CHALLENGING (depending on your standards, I felt it was fairly normal)
- Horde Mode is quite fun with solo and with other players
- Spicy quotes from characters
- OST that cut into instrumental and slightly different for the game
- Story that isn't a part of the show

Cons
- Somewhat overpriced for small content (There are cheaper games with more content than this game, surprising ain't it?)
- Story seems too plain, short and washed out with little immersion
- Skill system seems too short and simple (some free games provide better skill system with more details and a deeper understanding for use in offense, defense, support and such, which aren't all pay to get either with micro transactions )
- Lag spikes when near trees with lots of particles like in the map "End of The Line" and with enemies more than 12 will kill your frame rate no matter on Potato graphics or Ultra (my PC is mid-end, so no hardware problems here)
- Not enough bosses and way too many wave survival areas (maybe some rescue scenarios be fun too, adds more challenging stuff)
- Enemies are of little variety (meaning there isn't much variety of Grimm and other enemies)
- Cutscenes were... Unique! Yea that's the word
- Not enough spicy quotes from characters
- Speed run challenges or ranking for that be cool since its kind of an arcade like game
- Fun's too brief, way too brief. 10-20 mins = entire game even on Legendary on SOLO (can't play eclipse because I'm a ♥♥♥♥♥)
- DLC characters could have a separate mission but didn't (don't just give us characters, give us a separate story too! Price don't matter too much but CONTENT! RoosterTeeth, you guys should know this better than most people!)
- ULTRA settings isn't as "ultra" as you think :P

Reviewer's note: Honestly, I love this game and it could go better than it is now. We do have millions of fans of RWBY, and I mean millions. Shouldn't it's own game receive just as much love? We know we ask a lot, but if you can MAKE IT! WE BUY IT! I mean some of us spend like 60-80 dollars for games almost almost every 3-4 weeks you know? Some even more!

P.S: RoosterTeeth Games, if you're reading this review, love the game, love the art, love almost everything. But do me one thing! JUST ONE! LAG FIX PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Ok thanks bye! *Waving*

People are going to disagree with me with this review aren't they? Well... They can to be honest. Now the game is not terrible, its not bad, its not perfect either, nothing is. Its the matter of filling customer expectation, player conduct and community. Which Ubisoft tried to do, but didn't deliver quite as well. You can't really pull off an "original" (according to how YOU know it's definition) RPG. Yes it's like this game, this other game, and that game. IT'S AN RPG (Role-Playing Game, even though there isn't much in here). You can't change it's base what's originally like that. And here's the other thing, Your expectation was too high. way too high.

Now, they promised us next gen graphics, different loot system, locations that are shockingly accurate, etc? YES they did. But did they fill YOUR expectation? most likely not. Do you have to dump them into the abyss of hate? Apparently you do. Yes the dark zone is a terrible PvP idea, it was filled with hackers, haters, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, OP warlords who basically are gangsters in the dark zone even with apparently guardian 2 shooting skills (which mine is, and is decent) can't help in the dark zone. PvE is now the only place to go. Honestly I wished they made a player report system that required a in-game game master. Not that they would do that. Don't hate the game, guys, seriously... It shouldn't get this much hate.

Awesome game, pretty realistic excluding your health, drills, and stupid but extremely tough enemies. Very nice graphics, the frame rates are pretty controlled even if your graphics are on high. I love how you would have blur and missing shots IRL (in real life). The game is priced reasonably and I got it on discount by 80% which is great! Overall, this is a great game with realism and abit of cold-blooded comedy (somewhat). Recommended this game for its great and original scenarios with original characters including thier show up online. Hope you find this review nice and have a great day.

Worst game by my choice, STUPID STORY, gameplay is satisfactory, don't want to say spoilers but, the story is extremely stupid.

On a scale of 1 to 10 as a arcade fighting game, 8.5/10. Why not 10/10? 1 point is the costumes (same but with different colors) and sorta short on characters, 0.5 points is not enough moves or special stage settings.

Now, they have amazing soundtracks, backgrounds with animation, voice actors, animations, high graphics, sorta a steampunk theme (I think...) with a 1920s feeling.

Basically a great game with good (notice I said "good", not perfect or great.) gameplay, with SHORT lores, or storylines for each characters (not that I mind about so much, and maybe the lores are at somewhere else that I DON'T KNOW).

If you're thinking this game is worth $15, your answer is YES! BECAUSE ITS NOT LIKE TEKKEN OR STREET FIGHTERS, THOSE BIG GAME TITLES. THIS GAME IS MADE FROM A small (I think...) COMPANY.

This game was the worst choice to buy, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ WASTED $50 FOR WHAT? LOOKING AT THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MAIN MENU, AND TWO U HAVE TO SUBSCRIBE TO PLAY. I've been trying to play it but i need to get a subscribtion for the game, HOW IS IT FAIR TO PAY AT LEAST $50 FOR THE GAME AND TO SUBSCRIBE TO PLAY, THIS IS BASICALLY A ♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME. EXACTLY LIKE WORLD OF WARCRAFT. It was my fault that I didn't read the game's discription as much, but still could they like add a extra notice when you're about to make the purchase saying, "THIS GAME WILL ALSO REQUIRE A SUBSCRIBTION IN ORDER TO PLAY ARE YOU SURE YOU WANT TO CONTINUE?" Anyways, to those who also had the same problem as I did, I feel ya... STEAM GIVE US OUR REFUNDS!!!

A very nice J-RPG, it proves it's worth from its storyline, voice acting, and artwork. Its not a perfect game, though... In battles the particle effects and some of the boards are mostly standard quality for mobile games. This is actually my first J-RPG, so for those who might criticise me for saying, "keep your cool bro." Besides the actual gameplay and the optional part of the game is the "dating sims" or affection game, its very likely that most japanese game makers like little girls with "huge boobs"... HENTAI, but ya its worth $20, if you're a patient player, likely to be fine in awkward situations, and mostly likely to not criticise about the game too much. Plus it has FREE DLCs that immediately makes you into a super soldier within 30 seconds into the game. HAVE FUN!

Simple, easy, fun but also satifactory graphics for a F2P game. Nice voice acting, effects, but insufficient character models (Aliens).
