I played SIGNALIS without any prior experience with survival-horror type games. I was a bit worried I wouldn't connect with the genre, but I found myself really getting into it without having any nostalgia or experience with the games it was so heavily influenced by.

Fun game, kinda like IL2: Sturmovik in that it offers enough realism and historical authenticity without becoming a full-fledged simulator like DCS. There's plenty to see and do in its current state, and the developers release sizable updates regularly. A solid recommendation for anyone with an interest armored warfare.

I came into this game with zero prior knowledge of morse code and had to use a reference chart outside of the game. With the chart and the in-game tutorials I picked up the mechanics fairly quickly. In the end, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and came away with a greater appreciation of the technology and cryptography as a whole, and would solidly recommend it. (My only gripe would be having to use the mouse to operate the transmitter, I would've liked to be able to use the keyboard.)

A nice city-management game with just enough complexity to keep you engaged without feeling clunky or unintuitive. Even in this early stage in development it feels fleshed out, and has plenty of content to keep you occupied, with more updates on the horizon.

Caves of Qud is a fantastic game. It took me a while to get the hang of its controls and keybinds, but once you do you'll find yourself getting immersed in the game's unique setting and story.

Airships is one of those games that really scratches a particular itch for me that no other such game has before. The idea of building little airships and sending them out to fight can sound, at first simple, but once you really sart messing around you quickly realize how complex the game really is. The game already comes with a wid variety of modules for you to mess around with, but the game already has several mods that add massive amounts of custom content, adding many hours to the already replayable game. Most importanly to me, the game is still being developed, so plenty of things are still to come.
