After beating the game on Brutal I can share my opinion of it. Overall a pretty solid game to go through, althout it has a few negative quirks.

Castle building is an essential part of the game and the only limits in most cases are your imagination. Combat is pretty fun, Spells & Weapons offer a vast aray of builds and gameplay options to go through. Resouce managment is done great, and do not become obsolete once you outlevel them, even in the end game I was able to utilize resources from the first act.

Can be pretty fun both Solo & Multiplayer depends on what you are looking for.


While most of the bosses were a great fight, a few just felt untested on Brutal or hit with Bullsh*t mechanics to increase their difficulty. Felt like they were made by two different people, one which knows what they are doing and another who should not have been there in the first place.

The end game bosses though were amazing and did not dissapoint.

Healing items could just be removed from the game and it would not make any difference, they are practically useless in boss fights.

Not all spells are equal, while it can depend what boss you are doing or farming certain spells just outperform other in every aspect. In my 100h of gameplay there are spell's I haven't used more than once.
