We call out for you, on our hands and knees, begging for you to come back and play with us. And what do you do? You turn your back and walk away, sentence half finished: "Hey do you guys wanna-" Silence. The silence is thick and clotted, like an old scab, waiting to be painfully ripped open again. It weighs down heavy on me and Gary, like the burden Atlas himself must hold - a painful reminder of what once was, and will never be again. Where did the good times go? Flittering away like a spring butterfly off into the dewy meadow. Sometimes we look back and ask each other "When did it get this bad; How did it get this bad; When did it all go down hill?". The answer to that question, is more complex and convoluted than the most difficult of puzzles. Every now and then, an odd sound or chuckle that reminds us of our past with you, that beautiful friendship, causes me to double take and look to find but only to see that you're not there.
