I love this game, I also hate it. With all my heart. It's very frustrating. It's very rewarding.
Imagine epic action western game with zombies and other mutants. Also other players. This game has such a gigantic learning curve that yo momma ain't big enough to compare it. The gunplay is awesome, Other players range from frustrating to very good teamplayers. Unless you go with friends you don't know what to expect ( I mean, with friends you also don't know what to expect but in a general way you can come up with great plans).
As one smart person once said "Hunt giveth, Hunt taketh".
Don't buy this game. Buy this game. Your choice.

Oooh, there's a lot of 'trading' in this game, trust me ;D

This game is art. Pure art. There, I said it and I won't renounce that!

Both in visuals and in audio, this game is art.

This game is also comedy, very Monty-Pythonesque. Especially with the art style.

The music is also nice. Classical music. Very good.

Thank you for your attention.

I really enjoy this game, feels like good old Fallout 2... In a slightly different setting - Ex-Soviet Russia.
Ah, and it is in 3d isometric view.
The game can be tough, as some mistakes in character creation can be unforgivable once you set out on your adventure.
Getting your hands on firearms might be hard, but at the same time, once you get some, it is just rewarding.
The atmosphere in game is quite dark and grim with a bit of normal atmosphere of poor ex-soviet block town.
The companions act quite dumb sometimes, but devs keep working on this game even after release so there is some hope i that matter.

If you are able to run this game, then it is fun.
Unfortunately it might not work on your computer, even if it fits requirements, funny eh?
Even if someone has similar specs to yours and can run this game, well, guess what?

You might not be able to run it.

I will give a proper review if they fix crashes (or at least find the source).

Aaah, remember those fancy spooky scary houses?
Ye know, placed in funfairs, stuff like that?

Well, here's a game that kinda brings that feeling. Deep inside you know you can't die. There's no particular difficulty, dying is not something too memorable or frustrating. But this game has really nice aesthetics and the atmosphere of paintings you will see on your way is very memorable.

I think I have somehow gained immunity to jumpscares, but hell, there are so many jumpscares that after few you will know when the next should happen. But overall feeling of this game is nice, like 6,5-7/10.

Early Access Review
Sooo, I know I have played just 2 hours of this game, yet there are things I can spot in that short time period.
This is a multiplayer game, and so far the game seems very laggy, if you remember laggy servers from napoleonic wars dlc for warband, then yes, they are still more stable...
Another problem is the lack of discipline, the game needs sth to force formations and firing in lines, cause right now it seems to be random and almost free for all (some people are so thirsty for kills that they are ready to commit teamkill).
Next issue is the melee combat, which is very random and unintuitive (due to lags).
If the devs can overcome these difficulties, the game has a huge potential.
Sooo all people really into XIX century warfare... Hold your horses!

Bought this in the bundle, so I don't feel I've wasted too much money on this game.
I know, the time I spent on this game isn't too much. I'm still trying to play it.
The game feels nice at first, but after a while you see all the bugs and lack of common sense among your soldiers that you want to throw your computer through the window.
Your soldiers did a good fight, but end up without ammo, what do you do?
Micromanage your units to refill their ammo!
I know, realism... But in realistic game you would just put an ammo truck nearby your squad, so they can refill their ammo, and your units would do it!
The amount of problems with pathfinding among your soldiers is so huge, it really ruins the experience with this game.
You want to move your mortar unit?
Gah! They can't move through there!
You got a brand new and shiny m8 greyhound straight from factory!
Bam! It is stuck on the streetlamp! Points wasted cause enemy comes and destroys it!
Micromanagement would not be that bad in this game if your soldiers had some common sense so you could leave them alone for some time.
I remember, that in original MoW soldiers weren't too bright, but you were in the control of smaller squads, so could pay them your full attention.
What is nice in this game?
Japanese campaign!

I really enjoy this game (haven't finished it yet), though I wouldn't say I would buy it if it was not on sale.
The major problems of this game are low resolution and lack of voiceover.
On the other hand this game is full of humor. Thing I really appreciate is that this game is simple and easy (not in bad way of course - you get items that you will need, and finding a proper way to use them is not complicated).
This game would get 4 out of 5 stars if there was voiceover (I know it is indie, but there are many indie games with voiceover). This game deserves 3.5 stars for sure.

If it's on sale, just get it.

By buying this game you risk loosing money (buy only if discounted!)
The game does not launch - it is only shown in running processes. While there are many fixes and solutions that might work, none of them seems to work for me (and plenty of other players).

I won't change my opinion (maybe if they will fix this problem, but that's not going to happen, I guess...)

Buy at your own risk!

Even though I had to install unofficial patch to get it work better (with some stuff added) I spent hours in this game with pleasure.
Interesting characters, great story and soundtrack create a very tasty mix.
