I am absolutely loving it. I have turned the starting shed into an absolutely beautiful little home. I am ready to move in. I cannot wait to get back to progression and see what more this game has in store.

Early Access Review
I absolutely recommend Phasmophobia. When it first came out I stayed away because I am not one to play horror games, single or multiplayer. I finally gave it a chance and I love it. It's like a logic puzzle on steroids. Am I a fan of horror games now? No, but I love this game. Balancing information discovery, equipment use, and my character's safety while narrowing in on the puzzle of "what ghost is it" is very fun.

I just need to finish this last thing before I get off...Wait. I should really hook up one more ore node. Ok, I need more power. Let me just clean up this area a little...6 hours later...the hunger sets in. I remember I am mortal. I must leave the factory to sustain myself.

Yeah, I'd say it's a pretty fun game.

I picked this game back up after 9 years of not playing and still thoroughly enjoy it. Absolutely lovely game.

A great aquarium simulator game. Heavily recommend. The first person mode to be able to walk my aquarium is so fun. It gives me ideas for how to adjust layouts and redesign tanks.
The campaign has a nice pace for introducing me to the wide range of systems in the game in a fun and engaging way without it feeling like I am in a tutorial.
Only bummer was they introduced a cleaner hermit crab in one level then one of the subsequent levels did not have it available or as a research option. Everything else I have loved.

Loaded into the game and instantly was hit with my character thrashing around the camera whenever I tried to look at eye level. Repeat issue for full duration, unclear of cause as it was awful for the first first few minutes then only occasionally reared its head from minutes 5 to 9. I didn't get beyond 9 minutes as a result.

Other observations:
The audio slider mutes--or makes the game inaudible--at 50%.

I felt the tutorial doesn't get me into the game fast enough for how simple the inputs and tasks are. I wasn't a fan of having to prompt the NPC to tell me about the next task, wait on truck and worker arrival times, just felt like it had unnecessary bloat when I could be getting text boxes over each element I need, skip the NPC talker, skip the first truck time, skip the first worker commute. Let me see the meat of the game.

The UI looks rough. There was one set of text that didn't fit the button it was tied to in the beginner tutorial tablet UI. The design and color choices for each element of the tablet and other UI elements do not translate to user input suggestion which makes the first impression rough.

Isolated each of these things can be overlooked. All of this together and the major camera issue hitting me right at the start, I had to give up on this being the pet store game I have been looking for. I wasn't given a reason to stick around and keep playing.

Love the game. So many things to do and so many routes to take a playthrough between the morality choices, tech tree, progression lines, hybrids, all the micro and macro management. Highly recommend.

Love: animal variants, hyrbids, evil corporation options, benevolent zoo options. I can choose to play it like a zoo tycoon, or a mad scientist with mutant animals, or become a megafarm murdering exotic animals, or become a self sustaining zoo. There is always a minimum of a dozen things to do at any given time.

Ways it could improve:
a highlight to move system for building so I can move groupings of structures like a whole decor layout over.
Save anytime. Having a pause system without save anytime is detrimental to anyone who keeps the game paused for major changes. I quit playing a 36 hour save because my renovation crashed 4 hrs in.
More user friendly UI for my animals so I can at a glance see all animals in an enclosure without having to scroll through a single row bar, or navigate to the donation list to get to something closer to a easily readable list.

I thoroughly love this game. Arrowhead cooked for sure. It's a shame Sony Publishing is the one handling sale but the game is heaps of fun and Arrowhead is pumping out content to keep it interesting and compelling.
