Absolutely love the Campaign, as an original Space Marine player from 2012. Combat is satisfying, range of weapons hits the spot. It is going to take me a while to become proficient at melee and learn the attack patterns of all the new opponents.
Online (PvE) is also satisfying so far. There is a nice levelling system for your equipment and lots of customisation available for people like myself that prefer to see the Black Templars Chapter. Some people criticise a lack of ammo and dying too much, but that's the reality of the 40k universe even as a Space Marine. Everything is out to get you and even a regular Tyranid can do some damage to a regular Space Marine. Even if you are a longer ranged Sniper you need to sometimes get your hands dirty with your Combat Knife.
There is still a lot about this game I am discovering and even if I give up after another 15 hours of gameplay I think it was worth it to see this second instalment of Space Marine. Also keep in mind that the original Space Marine game didn't have Exterminatus on release (my favourite game mode), so there could be some chances of additional missions, game modes and other new content on the horizon for this game.
Also, if you're joining a game of PvE, don't expect other players to be able to hear your microphone. By default the volume of the weaponry you're using is going to drown out whatever the hell you're saying. Don't get upset with players who don't seem to be listening to what you're saying, they probably can't hear you over the sounds of the brutal executions and bolter explosions... LOL
Haven't tested PvP but not really interested in it unless there are unique unlocks. Wasn't a fan of the original Space Marine locking some perks behind PvP content, thus far this doesn't look to be the case with this game. 10/10
