Very chill and grindy. Relaxing to run around and farm. Questing is satisfying and feels like you've accomplished something. Has a nice retro aesthetic and pleasant scenery and sounds. Story is good. Inventory management can be a pain at first but then you get a little horsy which acts like a pet in Torchlight, taking items to your bank and returning so you can continue farming/adventuring uninterrupted. Would be nice to have an option to lock the map to always face north.

I like it more than 'Player Pack Gambling Simulator 2023'.

Gets repetitive quickly and attack animations seem flat and don't give a great sense of impact. Controller support is cool but can be wonky. When I play ARPGS I want satisfying smashes and everything to run smoothly, which is most often not the case with this game. Armor doesn't look great either. I get more satisfaction looting and smashing in Titan Quest and virtually every other major ARPG after that than this game.

Game with a million keybinds released in 2022 without Shift as an option for a modifier.

I really enjoy almost everything about this game but I had to stop playing for a really stupid reason. i was talking to a friend of mine at a bar a couple nights ago and he loves the game as well, but quit for the same stupid reason I did. It is simply the lack of hotbar functionality that just destroys the desire to play the game for both of us. The lack of ability to drag your skills around and the lack of quality of life features surrounding the hotbars. Compared to other MMO's I have played over many years, I have never seen such lack of functionality on an established mmo regarding the hotbars. Maybe there is something in the programming (I'm not a programmer or familiar) but I just can't understand why something so basic can be left out of a game so established and with so much funding and what benefit having such a restrictive hotbar could be.

It's pretty and the combat is fun.

I should have written a review by now. I've really enjoyed this game on and off since release when I bought the all legends pack, which I highly recommend if you find this game appealing after using the free characters. It's my favorite smash bro's clone ever and I actually like it better than Smash Bro's. The characters all have great designs with plenty of skins (for purchase) and the fighting, environments and gameplay overall are all super good. They also update the game a lot and add characters, environments, tons of really cool skins, effects and taunts you can buy (purely aesthetic). They also have seasonal stuff and different themes throughout the year. They had a 80's retrowave theme going for a little while and it was awesome. This is an amazing game to get into competitively or just use as a time killer to have a blast for a couple hours.

A little p2w but better than other $60 sports games that are even more p2w.

Great shooter to play with friends. My wife and I have been playing together lately and absolutely love it. Add me because we always need a 3rd for our fireteam.

Edit: Gets repetitive super fast. I told my wife that I wanted to try another game and she got mad and won't play any more video games. TBH I should probably thank you Bungie, because it is a lot of hand holding playing with her, but I am giving you thumbs down because you made me bored and literally rehash the same story/gameplay/event/whatever year after year! We had a good thing going for a little while but it's over D2. I guess it has been for a while, but oh well. Plenty of fish in the sea :(, but I really liked you for a minute.

Similar to Destiny but more preferable mechanics and aesthetics for me. The parkour style movement and ability to be more melee focused and stealth add a lot of fun and give it more of an action feel. Hopefully the game can continue to improve instead of decline after the recent changing of hands. It would be a shame if greed ruined such an amazing game.
