Easily one of the best multiplayer games around

Play for the price tag, stay for the best community i have ever seen, solid even after 10 years of ups and downs

Just as good as you remember it 12 years ago.

Does exactly what you need it to do, haven't experienced any crashes that have been described in other reviews and i'm running Windows 10. High quality videos and very simple UI. A cheap alternative to the full Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere without losing any features that aren't core.

The negative reviews didn't shake me on buying this game as i thought it might have been a cute mix between micro machines and mario kart, and i was right

But oh god does it piss you off
It is a struggle enough fighting against the controls (which you can't customise, oddly defaulted to left handed play) and the turning offers no powerslide unless i assume you are using a controller, which puts you often at the pack of the pack. The catch up is decent the slipstream is effective and some of the powerups make it easy to recover from mistakes but if you are in front it is one of the most frustrating experiences.
I keep racking my brain trying to figure out why these corners are physically unable to be made unless you "powerslide" (i.e braking until stopped and moving) or turning well before you would be normally instinctive to do so, The catchup powerups make it so the first place suffers the most while everyone else affected very little. The Safety Car powerup makes the first place and anyone catching up slowed to barely anything while the behind catch up and the Rain Cloud powerup is god awful, causing me to come second on the final strip in more than a few races. The damage system is innovative but in the end flawed as you are permanently slowed until you divert to a repair station, often longer than the actual track in it's own sense, just constantly punishing you

The graphics kept me entertained for the time i played and the little animations were pretty cutesy and enchanting but unless you are withering it out with a friend, pick up Toybox Turbos, another game made by the same developer which has the same arcadey charm but not as punishing and when it funnels down to it, it is actually fun to play

Bugged out the ass, for comedic effect; but renders the game unplayable. The fun runs out almost immediately, and trying to get anywhere leaves you frustrated and bored. It is only going to get worse with these mock simulators containing less and less effort. If your looking for a cheap laugh, buy it on sale. But don't expect more that 15 minutes of gameplay

This Game is surprisingly in depth, i came into the game, not expecting much, just to laugh at it's flaws with a few mates, but this is, in my opinion, a better survival experience than Rust, or even DayZ. The map is big on the outside, but small on the inside. You'll find yourself remembering places better and gaining a fast sense of direction. The car driving mechanics are flawless, and amazingly smooth. The only thing flawed is the melee mechanics. which you'll quickly brush off, as it is a FREE early access game. The fact that it is free is also a fantastic thing, as people often chage $20 + for a lot less.

I highly recommend this game, as a little experiment. It only takes 10 minutes to download and you'll be having fun for days
