This game is phenomenal.

Its not new knowledge that people like to complain when things go wrong, but not advocate as hard for the opposite when they love it. I want to be a voice for the side that thinks this game is amazing and wants to talk about that fact.

Yes there are some FPS issues in cities, its not the worst ever (they are also already adressing it. It comes from a bug that pulls from CPU power when it shouldn't when there are a lot of NPCs), but the only things I need to do there are buy/sell/upgrade or store items and then i leave to the whole map in which I get 70-100 FPS in on my laptop.

Yes, there are microtransactions. BUT, you do not need to buy a single one, every single thing apart from the camping dlc which is just a reskin for the campsite, can be earned in game from just playing the game as it is. It pains me that some people can be so thick to the point they don't give any benefit of the doubt, or pounce on their own negative opinions, because I've seen games where the premium content (which are just regular in game items anyway not special) that can be earned in game costs 100x the normal price of things. At least in DD2 its very reasonable. I've already gotten a bunch of the items from playing without paying for the dlc.

Now for some game talk,
This game has an amazing feel, between the physics and the combat and locking is just so satisfying. I am enjoying the thief class immensely, I love the execution moves and how good it is for bringing down large monsters. The random events and way that quests can pop up constantly keep me interested and surprised as I rarely expect some of the things that happen. They did a great job with the dynamic feel of the world. I'm still in the first city but I am already so excited to get more skills and explore the other classes, including the new ones. Its nice to be able to rearrange you're party whenever you want too in order to ensure you have the support you desire, such as ranged archer or support mage or offensive sorcerer.

All in all I implore everyone to not pay heed to the extremely barebone reviews that only say "I'm upset because I can buy this item at level 1 for $2 but I have to get to level 3 to buy it in game, thats too long now I HAVE to buy it with real money THANKS microtransactions." Its a horrible way for an amazing piece of work to be treated when its really not quite true.

Thanks for reading if you did,
Please enjoy this game as much as I do.

I will write a fully fledged review in time once things die down.

My sincerest apologies to anyone who crashes or lags too hard or anything else and is unable to play. I was lucky enough to only suffer FPS issues and not server issues.

The sheer amount of fun I have with this game, and anyone who either knows me or is able to read my profile can tell, I explore MANY games. I loved HD1 even when others didn't then as well. I can say for sure HD2 is the way this game is meant to be played. The mechanics, the dynamics, the physics ALONE. The laughter and joy I get from watching a friend or me myself get launched by a surprise charger that came around the corner and knocked us *plop* *clunk* *bonk* down some rocks only to get up, brush the dust off and keep firing is unlike many games I've played. It reminds me of my childhood and the games I played then. These are only my lil opinions as someone who enjoys exploring all genres.

This game had a wonderful prequel that was so much fun and many hated it for the camera angle alone. Upon release, this game has had an IMMENSE surge in players, and has as of today 2/17/24 passed Palworld in players, increasing recently at a rate of 20-30k per day. The servers play a huge part in the gameplay in terms of performance and general content, so that makes it a large factor. Once this is stabilized there will be minimal issue.

To see so many throw aside the chance to enjoy this game themselves by choosing to stay angry or try and shame this game because of generic technical issues makes me sad.

Day to day I have either been able to play smoothly, play roughly, or not play at all. I have been in the same boat, all I ask is you don't give up just because of some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs that will be dealt with soon.

Love and weed and tacos and hugs and gatorade and pizza and cute animals that like to be pet to all.

SO, the very first thing anyone will do or think upon seeing this game is think: "Oh, but Paragon died." What most people don't know, is that the OG devs released the source code, so this is actually more of a FAN MADE remake and optimization of Paragon. If you enjoyed Paragon AT ALL ( I loved it) you will not regret trying this out. Gameplay is more balanced and no one person is too strong (some people just know how to use their abilities better until experience sets in). ALL IN ALL, yes there was negative aspects before but much has been addressed and I look forward to seeing how this game progresses in the near future.

Let me start of by saying I understand some of the negative reviews and comments in discussions, the UI and effects can be difficult to get used to. HOWEVER, all of these are meant to add to the immersion and create that sense of being in a cramped bridge flying through the night stormy sky, shells erupting and tracers flying by.
I cannot get enough of it, personally.
Another big issue I see written about is the lack of aiming reticle. All I can say to that is this: Just because you are used to having a crosshair right on your target, doesn't mean you cant still hit them. I often use the Gladiator and pop targets from far with relative ease. Proximity fuse ammo can help you practice in this regard (Leading is life).

I'm 11 hours in and have had an absolute blast, but I will admit that the game takes a little focus at first to learn the mechanics, which afterward are some of the most rewarding mechanics i've ever been able to toy around with in a game. Not to mention the stunning and detailed graphic work, my only complaint is I cant zoom in (but I understand why) during combat and such to see those beautifully animated explosions and smoke and debris flying.
All in all this is probably one of my favorite and most detailed and immersive game of this type ive played.
I wish I could write more but i am late for work so I will be coming back to update this soon.

An amazing game for any Factorio/Satisfactory Fan. Though the map is much larger in comparison and you travel between planets to create interconnected networks. 42/17 great game

also, the dyson infrastructure is spherical. S P H E R I C A L

If you can handle not getting upset every game due to lack of teamplay then go for it. 9/10 your teammates will all lemming after one plane/tank leaving you to fight 4 enemies alone. The other 1/10 times you'll have help but they won't be aiming the right way at the right time and you'll still die. Play this game if you are fine handling your gameplay alone

This game is 100% worth playing and if you have doubts its still 110% worth trying out at least. Ironwolf VR is incredibly fun and immersive and with some work and some more players will become an amazing online submarine experience.

If you enjoyed Cold Waters or Uboat or Barotrauma or Silent hunter you will enjoy this game

This game really plays well and I'm rarely bored playing. The comp is a new and fun take on fps combat and the other modes are just as fun. I hope to see more guns added though (MP5555555)
