This game may not surpass the success of its original version, but it gets impressively close to recapturing its former glory. This is exactly how a worthy remake should be done—a perfect example of blending the modernization of an old product with the community's expectations. The chances of failure were numerous and extremely risky, and this should be kept in mind when discussing this game. The story remains undeniably intact despite its particular differences from the original, which are, of course, negligible (including the ballistics), enhancing immersion at the cost of a more lightweight, old-school experience. The gameplay is technically flawless: responsive, satisfying, and intuitive—although sometimes it can be -> TOO <- intuitive. The criticism about the yellow paint is valid and well-justified, even if the premise might seem trivial. It represents a complete degradation of the genre, which should be evolving in the opposite direction, without succumbing to new commercial inclusivity methods. This remains the only unfortunate flaw in an otherwise massive game that will forever overshadow the remakes that came before and perhaps even those that come after. All in all, it's a great game—fun and simple, offering just the right amount of challenge for those who seek it.

Three words could sum up this game in a nutshell: romantic, sublime, and nostalgic. This is because it's truly a well-crafted game, as long as you appreciate its throwback to an older style of gaming reminiscent of the PS3 era. It might have felt outdated today if not for the meticulous attention given to every aspect of this work—from the music to the graphics, story, and gameplay. In my opinion, only the most observant players can truly appreciate the harmony of these elements, especially through the gameplay, which, despite its simplicity, is elevated to another level by adding modernity and variety to the overall experience. However, it's perhaps the romance and poetry of the lore and its beautiful scenes that are the real highlight. Not many games can boast being so photogenic that they inspire you to take countless screenshots. Technically, though, it falls short in some typical RPG aspects, not daring much in terms of level progression or the skill tree, which becomes stagnant over time, especially since exploration is somewhat secondary. All things considered, it's a charming experience—technically mediocre, but it delivers the right kind of satisfaction.

P.S.

By now, its bad reputation is just a distant memory, thanks to a product as polished as Cyberpunk 2077 + Phantom Liberty. The game easily secures a well-deserved place among the top titles in its genre, introducing fresh and original elements to the typical RPG features. For me, it was a unique experience, surprising in some aspects and enjoyable from start to finish. The lore doesn’t go too deep, but perhaps that was the best choice, allowing the story to focus on the most impactful aspects of the Cyberpunk world. The gameplay is eclectic, offering a wide range of experimentation depending on personal preferences, and it's highly immersive, encouraging continuous play even beyond the main storyline. It's a great game that will surely be remembered as an emblem of this era, but also a cautionary tale of how a video game should be developed and finalized, because in the end, this game should have been great from day one.

ONLY FOR REAL TRY-HARDERS

It's more of an experience than an actual video game: it's something you feel rather than just play.

Surely isn't for everyone, but that's pretty much expected and well known for its fame and... author.

A pioneer for the new videogame generations, a must play if you're searching for something completely different, otherwise you're in the wrong place.

In conclusione: TROLL GAME
Consigliato solo agli amanti del trash, per farsi qualche risata.
