I finished the thing once and now I got the itch again and basically found out that I played it so superficially that I missed well over what feels like 40% of the content. By far one of the games of all time.

My skill trees have skill saplings. Idk what I'm doing.

Garbage.

Squeeze harder. I'm sure more money will come out.

This scratches an itch I didn't know I even had.

Actually incredible. Had no right to be as good as it was.

This game will probably be what Postal 3 wasn't but for now be warned:

-AI is absolutely terrible, specifically in combat. They get stuck in walls, no sense of self-preservation, they run past you with their guns out. Terrible experience overall.

-Certain things like molotov flames cause frame drops. There are also random frame drops throughout the game(playing on an intel i7 and rtx2060 so make of that what you will).

-Crashes happened only 2 times UNTIL I got to the final day where the performance and stability of the game really go downhill. I am constantly crashing. Can't finish the story.

-Tons of minor glitches and bugs (but not game-breaking).

-I'm not entirely sure how but I completely lost all my guns at some point. Had to rebuild my entire arsenal. Happened probably somewhere before the mall mission and I'm still not sure if it's intentional or not.

I will give this game a positive review once it is actually finished since it scratches my nostalgia itch but if you haven't played the previous Postal games then you will probably mistake this for a a very weird indie game that is being worked on part-time by a bunch of lunatics.

But hey, you can pee on people and you can also put a gun up a cat's butt and therefore use the cat as a silencer. How am I even allowed to type that sentence?

No problems for my lenovo legion laptop thus far EXCEPT one crash after I clicked to enter the game. Never happened again after that, FOR NOW. I'll update if it's the case. Game runs on a RTX 2060.

It's a great game. Solid graphics, protagonist is pretty well written and the gameplay is engaging. Had it on the PS4 but couldn't be bothered to play it with controllers. It was just... weird. And I am a console owner for a few years now. This was the only game I couldn't bear to play with a controller.

Can't help but recommend this game. Gameplay is essentially UPS simulator with some combat which, in all fairness, is pretty great. Never really felt bored.

It was relaxing to just walk around and admire the scenery whilst constantly erecting different types of useful constructions in order to help out any player who will come after me for a certain amount of time.

Biggest flaw of this game in my opinion is the awful writing.

The base concept of the story is not bad at all but HOLY ♥♥♥♥ the characters are written by someone who genuinely has no basic understanding of how humans talk. Furthermore, almost all the conversations between Sam Porter and other characters are plot dumps. They CONSTANTLY try to explain the story to you like you're some dumb ♥♥♥♥ with zero ability to comprehend context, subtlety or metaphor. It's like the only social contact the writers ever had was with chat bots.

Regardless, pretty good game. Worth about a 8/10 on my personal scale because it brings some innovation in the mix/is graphically stunning/gameplay is relaxing and enjoyable in combat situations. Worth the price.

I'd love to moan over how bad the zerging is or whatever but I can't really stay connected for more than 3 minutes at a time until I'm kicked out. Garbage servers.
