If you've ever played the phone app Alien Invasion then you've played this game. It is exactly the same layout and quest givers in the exact same locations (expect they are sea related here e.g., Alien leader needs you to free all the little aliens so they can escape. Pirate captain needs you to collect his crew so he can escape). Also the game isn't anything like the preview video above. I'd recommend it but it isn't probably going to be free so you might as well just play Alien Invasion, its free (just not with boats).

FatalZone is quite a fun game, but you do complete it fairly quickly. Once you understand the mechanics of it, it doesn't take long before you find a build that can decimate your opponents (e.g., molotov cocktail + gigantism + biodestructor + bat (evo) + kusanagi (evo) = unstoppable - just as a small example).

It would be nice if the base was more critical, but as it stands, once you completely cap out your base, looting crates and chests (except to get the evo level of your weapon while in the play field) become useless and unnecessary.

Some skills obtained in the gym become redundant, for example ones that affect you when you health is below 50% or less. In the beginning these are useful when your merc levels are low level. But once they reach level 2 (if not 3) and you know the builds your looking for you rarely see less than 10% health loss per run.

Mutations are nice, but are pricey, especially when you just start a new base. Just to get rid of one costs the merc $500 bucks. But once you get going, you start earning money hand over fist and then it just becomes which mutation you want to drop and see if you can get a better one.

So far, there are only three zones (Great Forest, Endless Desert, and City Parking). None of which really adds to the game except zone specific mobs, though the parking zone seems to have more cover obstacles compared to the other two zone.

When it comes to weapons, I've always been a gun fan, but in this game the bat comes out as a champion. Its strength really shows itself once it is evolved. Pretty much when you evolve your weapons you can literally just sit back and let the game play itself with no input for you. More or less an idle shooter.

Like I said in the beginning, it's a fun game, something to spend your time enjoy the slaughter of thousand of zombies with nary the effort. Though after a while you'll find yourself with a full team of merc's at max levels and nothing else to do as there really isn't an end game here aside from challenging yourself with higher level challenges per zone. But once that has been achieved - that's it.

I do recommend this game if you like some mindless fun, but don't expect much in terms of long term gameplay. If you see it on sale, pick it up.

Looking for something to pass some time. Very easy game but unfortunately I wasn't able to get passed level 18 even though I managed to move my ship into the harbor. It didn't register a win. I don't know if it is because the last mine wasn't detonated and couldn't be because no ship lined up with it. So no clue.

Cute little 'can you find' game that is very reminiscent of the Highlights for Children Hidden Pictures. Loved them when I was a kid waiting my turn at the doctors/dentist office. Love the art work and whimsical world to find the little hoppers therein. Have a few minutes in your day to just chill this could easily fit the bill. Would love to see more of these games.
