Anyone who is here to check out my profile after commenting about Hardland, no I am not a bot, just a concerned gamer that doesn't want a game with a lot of potential to die before it's time. Please spread the word and let people know Hardland is alive and almost finished with development!

Fair enough, I'll re-download Hardland when I get home later and give it a try. If they've apologized and put in some honest work then I will absolutely change my review

Before the actual launch happens, I will wait before changing the review. I knew that it came back but I'll wait for the 1.0 launch .. Plus they didn't really apologize for it at all which kinda sucks :/

Lol that desert snake thing sure is goofy. I haven't seen anything like that either. Funny idea though. However, that is from an announcement trailer. It is complete normal that announcement trailers have content that won't stick around until launch. They often work double duty as tech demo for whatever game engine is in display. Movie trailers work the same way. Early trailers often have dialogue or scenes that get cut from the theatrical release.

So are you stating that you don't want to see proof of the things you wish were true? I promise that I am not a troll. Truly. I am happy to take screenshots of whatever you like as I encounter it.

Watch at the 1:30 mark. This is an official trailer by Hello Games used to promote the game. It depicts gameplay, or at least it is made to look like gameplay. Nobody has seen anything like this since the game launched. Not a single person out of all the people who bought the game.

Snake? I haven't seen any snake thing in the trailers, but I have several screenshots on my profile that have huge flying snakes. Actually, I have a fair amount of things on there. You should check it out. Also, the animals are RNG, so of course I can't take screenshots of the exact things in the trailers, or of anything anyone else has seen. That is one of the main selling points of the whole system. Regardless, if you want the truth, as you have stated multiple times, there is some truth in my screenshots.

I'm afraid there's no way you can take a screen shot of the animals I am describing. You remember that gigantic snake in one of the early trailers? That doesn't exist, even in mod form. You CANNOT provide proof for your claims, so why even have this discussion? You must know where it will end up. Please, just stop. I don't want to keep wasting my time typing out responses like this.

You didn't supply any facts though. Those things are not in the game. You may have seen large flora and fauna on YouTube thanks to mods, but they are not in the vanilla game. I'm frankly tired of this infinite loop, and I clearly won't convince you no matter how much proof I provide, so please just go about your business and forget we even had this discussion.

Do you remember that all of the things you posted in response to me were in turn responded to with evidence of it all being in the game? That is what I have been trying to get at this whole time. Once I supplied you with facts and first hand experiences then you just ignored it.

I replied to as many people as I could get to. I addressed you personally many times, and yes, I even answered your question. You might not have liked my answer, but I gave you a few of the things Sean Murray stated were going to be in the game and ended up being lies, which disappointed me personally.

Regardless, the thread was clearly devolving from a discussion into a mob mentality "hate on the OP because everyone else is" circlejerk. I don't know what else to say, and despite wanting to warn people of what they were getting into, people were more than happy to ignore facts and spit vitriol. I pity people like that, but also angered by them. When this industry is taken over by lies, loot boxes, and microtransactions, it will be a very dark day indeed. I just wish they didn't have to screw me over in the process of screwing themselves.

Well, it would appear my thread has been deleted (not even locked, straight up deleted), so this isn't really a discussion anymore now is it? The trolls won, and they got some troll mod to completely erase a fair and honest thread that I created championing integrity amongst gamers.

I see no integrity now, and despite all of the lies Hello Games perpetuated throughout their scummy trip through our beloved industry, nobody cares. Go back to playing the game. It's good that you enjoy it, but I hope you're ready for that bubble to burst when practices like this become so pervasive that our industry crumbles right before our eyes.

RE4 is literal ♥♥♥♥, it couldn't spawn any success after its arrival and couldn't even be called survival horror by definition.

Dude, who the hell are you and why are you talking about RE4 on my profile like I've said anything about that game in years? A lot of people liked RE4, critics and gamers alike, and at the time, it was an undeniable stroke of genius in gaming. By your logic, every game that spawned a popular mechanic or design choice should be scorned based off of whatever crappy games tried to copy it. RE4 was brilliant, and it's entitled to have its own identity just like any other game that tried something new and succeeded.

If you like RE4 you're cancer plain and simple. This game made the third-person shooter genre the plague it would become, and great games like Dead Space came in and did it better. Even today this game is ♥♥♥♥, the survival horror falls flat, the action is lame and shallow. This game would spawn such lazy player interaction such as press X to do Y and introduce concepts of level scaling people would loathe to this very day.

Hell, the game is so ♥♥♥♥ that the game has failed to build a foundation in which more games could be made and a franchise sustained.

The only reason it had any success is because of johnny come lately cuckboys like you heard of the success of the RE series, games like 1, 2, 3 and mercenaries that stood on their own two feet. That literally spawned more and more successful games, this would be your first RE game and so this cobbled together mess comes to you as good.
You who has Alien isolation, a MODERN released survival horror game that is actually solid.
