The game is made well, fun to play, great visuals and solid VA - the problem for me is the multiple predatory/insensible business practices.

If you ever intend on utilizing the cross-play, buying expansions does not stick with your account; if you were to buy The Witch Queen on Steam for example, you couldn't play The Witch Queen content on PS4/5 without purchasing it on the PS store. This is relatively minor if you stick to one console, or know which one you'll be doing story content on.
I prefer Steam, but bought the first few expansions on PS4 to play with friends before Cross-Play was enabled and now I have to use my un-preferred system or buy content I've already paid for again in addition to the new content. This is all also content that will be likely disabled in the future as more content comes out to lower the game's total GBs, making it essentially wasted currency. Personally, I believe all purchased content should be available (optional download?) as well as account-bound - to keep armchair-devving to a minimum, it doesn't seem that the latter would be that difficult given all of the other advances Bungie has made in cross-platform tech.

There also dungeons in TWQ expansion that you cannot access, at least for some time, unless you buy the digital deluxe edition. I haven't encountered an MMO where the dungeons are not part of the expansion price, but perhaps I haven't done enough looking around.

Again, this is an intensely well-made FPS from the development team at Bungie, but the business-side of things is deplorable and feels, yucky, for lack of a better word.
