Finally all the updates and DLCs are properly downloaded. Well... This DLC is great. The race is great. And it's free. Probably to compensate payed Chaos. Well, as for me such a compensation is not bad. But i'm in seriuos doubts about buying any of Sega products again. I'm no cow. No need to milk me.

Love the game.
In fact, I love most of Paradox games. But about $200 for the full game? Guys, you're a bit greedy. Oh. Forget the @a bit@ part.
Same with EU4. Tame your greed or it'll lead you to bad things in the long term.

Couldn't even try it. Says smth about anti-cheat, what kind of anti-cheat in a training session?

A nice change from Hearthstone.
Some interesting mechanics added, a space setting.
Definitely worth a try.

Can't remember when i last died in the tutorial level on normal difficulty. That definitely looks interesting!

UPD. 150 hours later: I LOVE THIS GAME

Here are my first impressions.

I've been following this game for quite a time, reading and watching reviews, hesitating whether to buy it or not. So first of all thx for the free weekend, it's the greatest thing any company could do to give players understanding do they want to play the game or not. 2 hours offered by Steam to get a refund is often not enough for such understanding.

So now, after spending 6 hours in the game i can definitely say: "Shut up and take my money!" And yes, I go for the Gold Edition. Because i want to spend time in this game, in this world. The "Wow!" effect this game gave me... I haven't experienced such since first parts of Witcher, Dragon Age or Rome TW.

I'm not a great fan of Elder Scrolls world, although i like the series in general. And i'd like, as many before me, to warn the people, who are looking for Skyrim Online - that's not it. The feeling i got after first hours of the game is more of a Lineage 2, when it was in the period of Second or Third Chronicles. The feeling of the world, the anticipation to explore it.

What really impressed me, are the quests. Even in the starting location they make you think sometimes "Am i really playing an MMO?" Most of the so-called RPGs nowadays offer worse questlines.

And don't pay too much attention to the amount of negative reviews. About 20% of those are from handless people, who can't link their accounts, and another 15-20% from Russian speaking neandertals, whining tha the game is not translated. Of course, many will find different negative things, which would prevent them from playing EOS. As for me - I'm diving in!

The DLC policy is quite ok. Wait for half a year and you get a very decent sale price.

I tried the game during a free weekend.
I'm not a casual gamer, i started playing turn-based games since the very first X-Com in 1993 and tried most of the famous titles. Never thought i'd write a negative review on such a game, but i seriuosly can't recommend it to most of the people. The game is hard, and it's achieved not by some tactical advanatages or clever AI, but through crazy random.
80% chance to hit? You'll miss. Twice. 73% chance to climb? You'll fall. Twice. The game is an offence to the theory of probability itself.
That's not to mention quite complicated controls, uninformative map, lack of normal grid, being unable to save at least once during the mission and several other issues that make the game uncomfortable to play.
The devs tried to reinvent a bicycle, and in my opinion they failed. And all the nice features, like interesting tactical moves, character customization and progress and warband management are killed by the rest of the negative things.
Some people might find the game interesting, and i even might buy it myself, if there will be at least 80% discount on a bundle with all the DLCs, but until then - not recommended.
