For the love of god stop ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ updating every week, this ♥♥♥♥ is getting ridiculous. No other dev makes you do a 10gb download with a 68gb unpack, grow up

I played this and kept playing it until I realized I wasn't having any fun. Maybe it's not the game for me, or maybe it's just not good.

Fun premise, fantastic visuals and the main character is voiced by David Duchovny, which is great. It falls short with a forgettable storyline, firearms inaccurate past 20 feet, the boring boss fights, infuriatingly unskippable cutscenes, and the horrendous fall damage.

Storyline is meh, we can gloss over that. The level design is awesome and enjoyable to explore. Good luck hitting the broad side of the barn with anything but the sniper weapons and the magnum, though. The bullet spread is RIDICULOUS, especially for a game that places enemies so far away from you all the time. You'll go through an entire mag trying to kill 1-2 guys because your shots just don't go where you want them to. It's comical. Even at nearly point blank range, 2-3 shots of a burst will fly wide.
It can't figure out what it wants to be. It really, really should be a boomer shooter, but some of the levels feel like they're going to an old tactical simulator, but with none of the mechanics that makes those levels work.
The cutscenes and dialogue can be entertaining, but after you fail a level (especially the stealth levels) you get to sit through them allllllll over again. It was torture.

The fall damage is also part of it's identity crisis. My guy needs a trip to the ICU after a 6 foot drop, yet you are constantly dropping from those heights and greater. The combat is annoying because the guns are wildly inaccurate, and the movement isn't quick, and punishes you for using verticality, when all of the combat missions seem to be set up for zooming around and gibbing fools. I can't tell you how many times I died because I dropped down the ladder on the last level a foot or two too soon, then I had to do it allllll over again, and listen to Mongoose's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ spiel a thousandth time.

Some parts were fun, but generally it doesn't know what it wants and the frustrating parts are too frustrating to make the fun parts worth it.

This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ slaps. Has a case of sticky feet and I end up wall-running when I don't want to, occasionally my hitbox feels a little too large, but minor complaints. Fast, tight, and fun.

Really easy game, the cosmetic customization is incredibly extensive, the tone of the story is lighthearted, yet sometimes heartfelt, you can really feel the romantic tension between Reynauld and Dismas! It only really starts to get good after year two, once you fully max out their relationship traits, but afterward the game picks up. Also, word of advice, take along a few resolve level 1 heroes to a level 5 expedition- they end up struggling a little at first, but are very grateful for the experience, and end up making a lot of friends along the way. :)

It's worth a dollar, nothing more
