I have easily 5 thousand hours in Smite, considering I have played it way before it released on Steam. Short and Simple, I hate Smite 2, just really do not enjoy it, it is exactly like the first game but just feels worse to play? If that makes sense. Beta blabla, look at how Overwatch 2 turned out with the same format, it didnt. This is like back in school when you let someone copy your homework but told them to change a few things, this Game was not necessary and you know it. I have a feeling this is why you also did not discontinue the first one like OW2 did with OW1, in case it would flop. That being said I do recommend people to try it out and see for themselves, this is just my own personal opinion.

They worked really hard to make this game as bad as it can possibly be, it somehow even degraded over the years. Just go and build a paper plane or sth, more fun than this will ever be

I have yet to finish it but the missions become really repetitive and stale, enemy variety is also quite boring, its always nurgle in these games isnt it. Your characters are really cool tho and you can try different builds with different gear etc, that is really fun, only issue i have with it is again, it gets bland really damn quickly. Id give it a 6/10 but i wouldnt recommend getting it, if its on sale however, you might as well grab it like i did
