This DLC adds a nice amount of content for the price, the extra levels help give more optional maps that aren't Arena battles and the new classes are fun. NG+ is gated behind it, but there's enough other content included that if you like the game enough for NG+ then I would suggest grabbing Legends anyways.

A really good game by a small dev. The central mechanic of the squads is really fun, and having a large squad get lots of level ups at once gets those good brain signals going. I especially like the sprite artwork, and there's a pretty good spread of classes before the new DLC. I ran into a bug with certain NG+ units, and the developer manually fixed the save for me, which is incredibly appreciated.
